breaking the fence
I 've just heard on FOX news that the fence on the border is broken in 19 places and the Border Patrol did not do anything to intervene ?
Anybody knows more about it ?" Do not compromise yourself . You are all you've got ." -Janice Joplin .

I saw this to, what is the deal here, it seems the border patrol sometimes speaks out both sides of their mouth! they say they are glad for the help, then they sit by and do nothing to prevent this from happening. Do you think they might actually have orders to stand back from the border, or the minutemen? I like that the report stated these minutemen were called vigilantes and racist by some, but their forces were growing rapidly.

OK, here's the story as I know it!
There are lots of places on the border where there is no fence and the places where there are holes in the fence the Border Patrol set out sensors, they use these places to help channel the illegal traffic so they can work more efficintley, they have a lot of ground to cover out there.
In my opinion the Border Patrol has the most thankless and unrewarding job there is, theses guys know what they are doing but in many ways their hands are tied. I have seen them in action and they know their stuff!
So please don't be so quick to put them down, in fact go out and look up your local BP office and write them a thank you card. They need to know that there are people out there who back them and what they do.
I had some problems on my property one time and called the BP, by the time I hung up and went back outside there was a BP helicopter overhead and two vehicles coming up, these guys do what they can and they need our thanks.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

I still think that if the illegals here would ask for help to take back their own country that Americans would help them.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

bearpaw, the point I was really trying to make was not the part about them calling the minutemen racist and vigilantes, but the part about their forces were GROWING! I loved the fact they said that in the news, let people know this anti-illegal immigration protest was getting bigg!

All the country cannot be racists.
This is not wise for the president to call his people bigots and racists , because he REPRESENTS them . He represents their interests and he was chosen by them for this reason .
This is not politically or even ethically appropriate for the president to call his people names . This is impossible for 300 000 000 people to be rasists and bigots only because they want to keep their door closed from intruders .
I think he is spitting inside the well there he will have to drink from .
I do not feel bad when I hear these insults , because nothing is wrong in trying to protect the laws . If the president is trying to turn his own people against himself - people should not take this personally , I work with sick people all the time . Probably there is a psychological/psychiatric problem .
Maybe he should be evaluated by a specialist - I am not making fun here , I think that maybe he is really sick .
For example , everybody knows Russian president Yeltsin who was an alcoholic , so some things which he said or did were just a part of a sick person's behaviour .
Maybe this is a case here too , it does not have to be alcoholism neccessarily , but maybe a personality or adjustment disorder .
One of the symptoms is called - "projection " , another one " denial " .
I think the president exhibits both of these symptoms" Do not compromise yourself . You are all you've got ." -Janice Joplin .

Make no mistake. Bush is very smart and he has an agenda. It is just not the agenda he is sharing with us and not an agenda the people of this country want.
It is a much larger (global) agenda. Almost everything he has done is to further his globalist plans. Sit down one day and research what he has done over the past 6 years. And it is not just this president. This plan has been in motion for quite a while. We are just starting to realize the fruits of their labor.
I do not think he is dumb or stupid or sick for that matter (unless you mean sick as in duplicitous or evil, he definitely has that going for him). Look at all he has accomplished under our noses.[/img]
