Breaking news...President Gerald Ford is dead.

Yea, I heard that, turned on the classic country music and the tv off!

Most will remember Ford as the stumbling, bumbling President who tripped on stairs, accidentally hit people with golf balls and, of course, who pardoned Tricky Dick Nixon. I remember him as a dark and dangerous political hard-baller who participated in the sham Warren Commission before having his image "rehabilitiated" as a sort of affable clown of the beltway. If you want to craft a short list of politicians who helped take the government from the People in order to turn it over to a power elite, you could do worse than to include Ford near the top of that list.

Very true Crocket, I admire your insight.
Ford did come out in the late 90's and admitt that the Warren commision "moved" the intrance wound on JFK's back so their "magic bullet" theory would work.
I was surprised that didn't create more of a stir, I guess by then it was old history to most folks.
