Breaking news: Lighten up enforcement on illegals until Bill

Today while working I heard on the radio about a request to lighten up enforcement on illegals until a bill passes through Congress.

Does anyone have any further info, on this?

I didn't hear the news that you are referring to.

But I have an opinion on it. The raids that have been publized are just bones tossed to angry (as yet to be told the truth) citizens to continue the myth that The People still have control over the destiny of The United States.

Of course they have to lighten up on the enforcement it is in violation of the nail in the heart of democracy Clinton and Bush have signed with other nations in this continent and across the Atlantic. Those borders have been in my opinion illegally thrown open to the world.

I say illegally because at the time Nafta, Cafta, PSP and all the rest of the horse pukie traitorous treaties and agreements were hammered out and signed we were - I think perhaps a somewhat functional democracy and NO ONE BOTHERED TO CONSULT THE PEOPLE!

Bush and Clinton and their Corporate cronies want cheap labor and maximum profits at the price of our sovereignty.

And that's the way it is on June 11, 2006.

    Haven't heard that either, but...

lighten up enforcement on illegals until a bill passes through Congress.
    ...

that makes sense if your goal is to have more illegal aliens have a chance to break the law and sneak in.

Another 911 type of an attack (God help us) would proabably bring impeachment hearings against Bush..He's the only person that can reverse open borders. If he says 'seal the borders', it will be done yesterday.

We don't need any new laws. We need enforcement of existing laws.
Any bill is just a potential vehicle for amnesty.

From what I've heard and read, it is the pro-illegal movements and the Catholic Church who are calling for a ease of enforcement while this issue is before the Congress...reasoning from their perspective, is that it would be unfortunate if someone was CHEATED out of AMNESTY because they got pinched a few weeks before the bill passed.

Yeah, it would be a shame for the Catholic Church to miss out on a few weeks tithe because one of the flock got busted for violating this nation's laws.

I disagree. The Catholic Church will try to do what Jesus would do (WWJD). They are all for humanitarin causes.

Why in the hell should our government get away with using the Catholic Church to report the whereabouts of illegals? Get the freaking government to hire citizens to chase the illegals down. Just like this administration to do it the cheap way, like they do with our borders and Iraq.

I can't defend the Catholic Church when it comes to their behavior and they should not be in the spotlight on this one. The church is entitled to its opinion, which will aslways be a humanitarian one. If illegal aliens are gathering at a church, then it should be corrected by the government, not by the church

I needed a good laugh! If the enforcement agents of the INS had less to do they would grow cobwebs like Rip Van Winkle. They have been sleeping for over 20 years.
