On December 16th the House passed the Border Protection, Antiterrorism, and Illegal Immigration Control Act (H.R. 4437),

Read the full text of the bill here.

The bill makes unauthorized presence an “aggravated felony,” classifying 11 million people, including children, as criminals. An estimated 3 million US citizen children could lose their parents to arrest and deportation.

The bill also makes the aiding of undocumented immigrants a criminal offense. That means any family member, church, school, employer, hospital, or service organization that helps an undocumented immigrant would be subject to arrest, imprisonment, and fines.

    Other draconian amendments to note:

    1. The CLEAR Act: Any state, county, city, or town police officer would be free to question, demand papers, and detain people who couldn’t prove their legal status.

    2. An amendment to end the diversity visa lottery program passed 273 - 148.

    3. An amendment making first-time DUI a deportable offense.

I started a debate with my friends referring them to this site BlueLatinos.org to contact their senators and this is an e-mail that sprung up with the discussion about the Latino flags and such…
In order to respect this person’s privacy I will keep it anonymous…

The problem is, people like Michelle Malkin don’t get that.

She’s basically just saying what conservatives are thinking about the tone of
    some recent protests
