BUSH BS's in CLEVELAND, OHIO SPEECH TODAY!

President Bush was in Cleveland today and gave a speech at the City Club.

President Bush once again is claiming that illegal aliens only do jobs Americans won't do... which is such BS.

His example in his speech was some unknown Ohio "onion farmer" who he supposedly spoke with this morning who says he can't find workers.

Lies... Lies... Lies... These guys don't want to hire Americans.... if they did, they would advertise these jobs... do they? --NO!

Also, what about all the illegals doing construction in Ohio? Is Bush claiming Americans won't take construction jobs?

Everyone knows that Americans will do these jobs... so he conveniently didn't mention it.

I hope everyone gets blisters on their finger tips from calling their senators and judiciary committee members in order to kill guest-worker amnesty schemes and push HR4437 though the Senate.

Let's stop the open border lobbyists' lies...

Hey, I think that is the same example the talk radio used here in North Carolina last week. I wonder if they are related?

John, are you serious or joking? Did Bush say he spoke to an Onion farmer in NC last week?

Actually a talk show discussion last week was leaning pro-illegal and as an example they used an unnamed farmer who couldn't find enough workers to harvest his crops.

    Let's Clarify Something....

Many agricultural jobs go unfilled, and for two reasons:

    1. The large CORPORATE FARMS do not want to pay a fair days pay for a fair days wages...sad but true. It is not only Americans that do not want these jobs, it is the illegals as well.

    2. Illegals now are not going for farm jobs in our economy, because they can make a LOT more money working under the table as day labors doing construction, landscaping and other jobs. Even illegals doing housework in our area of the country are now getting $80 a day, while their male counter parts taking our construction and landscapng jobs are making a minimum of $100 a day.

Americans will work, but NOT FOR PEANUTS, and most agricultural jobs want to pay WAY BELOW THE POVERTY LEVEL WAGES. Funny how Bush failed to mention the 50 illegals apprehended at a job site in Penn. back in December at the site of a new Walmart distribution center, and the fact that while those illegals were building that warehouse and collecting a days pay, unemployed union carpenters sat at home unemployed just before Christmas.
