I have said something earlier about the fact that my internet service will not translate the articles from Comcast Latino to English. It will....for the cover-page...but not the articles. I called them about this. They tried to say they were the same articles as the main Comcast but that isn't true and I pointed that out. I also brought up the poll they had a few days ago about whether they wanted Comcast Latino translated into English or not and the poll said NO. They then said this site was ment for the comfort of the Latino community to share news. Fine...but then I said I look at news from all over the world. I can have any article translated into English but articles from this site. They told me....if I search enough...I could find those articles in English. To that I said......I pay alot of money for this service.....it is on my direct menu and I can't get it in English. I then asked does the Latino community pay more for this service or do I? It's the same. Can all the articles be translated to Spanish? Yes. Then why can't Comcast Latino be translated to English? Because the Latino community wants it this way. Isn't that discrimination? No. Would it be discrimination if an English site wouldn't allow the news to be translated to Spanish? Yes. I then said My lawyer would be contacting them for discrimination. They said ...fine. I also said I would cancel my service.....they said ...fine. We will put this to the board for review. What's your opinion on this? Personally......I'm pissed.
