Obama to See India on $200 Million a Day

Seemingly every election day estimate predicting increasingly bad news for Democrats is met by an exponential rise in the cost to taxpayers for President Obama’s “I’m outta hereâ€

Too much. This is government out of control.

2 Chronicles, it is written, if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
    Matthew 19:26
But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

Supposedly he's going to have a lot of company, too.

With trade high on his agenda, some 200 odd top US business chiefs, including soft drink giant Pepsico's India-born CEO Indra Nooyi , are expected to join US President Barack Obama on his India visit next month.

Also expected are Honeywell CEO David M Cote, who co-chairs the India-US CEO Forum with Tata group chairman Ratan Tata .

So is Terry McGraw, CEO of leading publishing house McGraw Hill, who took over from Nooyi as the chairman of the US Indian Business Council , representing 300 top US companies last June.

Two more of 12 US forum members, Louis Chênevert, CEO of aerospace major United Technologies Corp, and Ellen Kullman, chief executive of chemicals giant DuPont , may also be joining.

Are they going to out source even more jobs? It really did Comcast alot of good when a customer who was on the phone had a medical emergency while speaking to the call center and asked for them to call 911. The woman died and the family is suing Comcast over it. It just came out a few days ago that the customer service calls were going to India.

US to spend $200 mn a day on Obama's Mumbai visit

Press Trust of India, Updated: November 02, 2010 21:07 IST

Mumbai: The US would be spending a whopping $200 million (Rs. 900 crore approx) per day on President Barack Obama's visit to the city.

"The huge amount of around $200 million would be spent on security, stay and other aspects of the Presidential visit," a top official of the Maharashtra Government privy to the arrangements for the high-profile visit said.

About 3,000 people including Secret Service agents, US government officials and journalists would accompany the President. Several officials from the White House and US security agencies are already here for the past one week with helicopters, a ship and high-end security instruments.

"Except for personnel providing immediate security to the President, the US officials may not be allowed to carry weapons. The state police is competent to take care of the security measures and they would be piloting the Presidential convoy," the official said on condition of anonymity.

Navy and Air Force has been asked by the state government to intensify patrolling along the Mumbai coastline and its airspace during Obama's stay. The city's airspace will be closed half-an-hour before the President's arrival for all aircraft barring those carrying the US delegation.

The personnel from SRPF, Force One, besides the NSG contingent stationed here would be roped in for the President's security, the official said.

The area from Hotel Taj, where Obama and his wife Michelle would stay, to Shikra helipad in Colaba would be cordoned off completely during the movement of the President.

I'd love to ask this hypocrite in chief why he feels that we have to tighten our belts, but he doesn't. I'm sorry, but if you are POTUS during an economic recession that you have resided over, you shouldn't be allowed to vacation on our dime. We are trillions in debt and yet you take more vacations in 2 years then the last 5 presidents combined during their terms? Seriously this clown makes George W Bush seem like a humble genius in comparison. I love how he spends our dollars to prop up some other countries economy when he could be spending it to vacation in this country and prop up our economy. Thanks jerkoff!!!
