    Is It Just Me?

Maybe I am really tired, which I am, (spent the day at Kennywood riding coasters) but it seems to me the board is going off in the wrong direction. It feels like it is losing its focus. Some of the posts I read have really irated me. Maybe it is time for me to take a break or find another forum to put my energy and time into. I am going to sleep on it because I am dog tired and 5:30 a.m. rolls around quickly.

    SteelerBabe,

I cannot spend hours in this forum but I do enjoy your posts so please don't leave and find another forum.

Some posts are irritating you? Well, I expect some of mine have irritated others too (no need for honesty here anyone :P ). Sometimes other's posts irritate me. I sometimes come to this forum already irritated and crabby because of illegal aliens and matters in my personal life.

Let's just say some or all of us probably irritate others at times and are annoyed ourselves, but with the exception of a few trolls, we are all on the same side.

    Steelerbabe!

I KNOW some of posts are irritating! Heck they even irritate me sometimes when I go back and read them!! LOL
Sometimes I get hot under the collar and discouraged and that is when I have a little hissy fit!

I realize this forum is about illegal immigration and a lot of things I post are not specifically about that. However, the reason I do post most of those things is so that people will realize how so many things tie into illegal immigration. To me it is only one aspect ( a critical one) of the destruction of this Country. And sometimes I will post something off the wall. If we can't have a laugh once in a while, we will burn out. We CANNOT afford that!

With that said, if any of my posts have irritated you, by all means, pm me and give me a good talking to! Chin up! Get some rest! Things will look better in the morning!

The main issue is the group always comes together when it needs to. Look at the miller beer issue. When some one asks for help everyone jumps in. That’s what maters. I can live with the impeach bush saga and dxd’s constant fire the republicans even though they are the only ones standing up to the illegal issue. Just take a couple deep breaths and read a book for a day. That’s what I do. Seems to work for me.

steelerbabe, oh come on, surely you are not saying some of "my" post irritate you, did you say that? Just teasing, everyone has to take some rest at times it can be overwhelming at times that is for sure. Maybe you were reading some of the post in the other topics, news and issues and mistakenly thought they had nothing to do with immigration which most don't, and got irritated, I did that once and made an ass of myself with a comment asking what did this topic have to do with immigration, felt like an idiot when I noticed which forum I was in! In all seriousness steelerbabe, sometimes it is a little bit of a relief to read something off the subject just to rest your mind! Get some R&R and come on back!

    steelerbabe,

I think you are right! We have created this new FOCUS campaign area, which has taken an extensive amount of effort to build and manage and we only have a small minority of the ALIPAC board users working in there.

We need everyone focused on the FOCUS projects which are designed to save this country.

That is so much more important that gabbing about the news!

Come on people! Let's get the work cranking in the FOCUS area.

We need to LOCK THE VOTE! We need help with the Boycott. We need help with the cities and towns!

We have asked people to post about their efforts in the FOCUS area and the results have been a lot of people saying "Oh yea, I'm doing the work I just do not post about it"

steelerbabe, I understand the frustration that builds up. I wasn't on here much last week....just needed to be away from it to regroup and remind myself never give up, just let go of the negativity that builds in me at times.

    W,
I agree. The best thing I personally can do right now is recruit for ALIPAC. I put in long, odd hours at work but I can still spread the word there and put my spare change into producing flyers to recruit and boycott. Let's all continue to do whatever it is that we can do....and everything more we can do. I am going to replace my anger and frustration with dedication.

Steelerbabe, I am writing in hopes that you will accept my apology if I appeard in any way to be making jest or light of your post that was not my intention at all. In fact, I don't quite think I really caught what you was talking about but W.was able to make that abundently clear to me with his scalding reply to your post. It would appear that he and I guess you, think that only a few of you do all the work while the rest of us play around. You know steelerbabe, I am not a go getter activist, I am not the best at typing and for sure not the best at finding the appropriate words I need when I write my emails. I know this is not your concern however, I feel I need to tell you though, I spent 3 hours the other night writing individual emails to the Mayor and all city council members at Farmers Branch Tx and didn't even get one answer from any of those gentlemen, so I guess you and W. would naturally think I wasn't doing my fair share here since I didn't have any "proof" of my endeavors to post in the focus campaign. I missed that I was suppose to post each and every one of those emails in the focus forum so you would know I had even written them in the first place. I am not for sure a good activist, I don't have the computer skills I need, don't have a fax, and am hampered by a very strict fixed income so I also have to watch my long distance calls. Let me be the first to tell you I appreciate all the hard work you do and am so sorry that some of us seem not to work as hard to you and W. This is such an important work here I realize that and would not ever make small of the work you have done, please accept the honest truth here that I misunderstood what you were trying to say in your post. I want to beg of you not to leave ALIPAC, you are really needed here, let me be the one to move on and find another site to do what I can in this fight even with my limitations. I am just one old Indian man, very proud of that Indian part , who always felt my word was my honor and didn't understand that I needed to prove to anyone just exactaly what I was doing and how I was doing it! I want to say in ending here that I will miss all my friends I have made here at ALIPAC, what a good bunch of people you are, you can truely be proud of yourselves, and if W. doesn't ban me for this, I will check back occ. to see how you are all coming along and read the good articles you post here.
    Nitty.
