When back in the 90's and through 2002 most I know in my brigade who were put out on DADT did it because they wanted to get out. Not that they were "found out". I remember 3 soldiers all seperate occasions. They used it to get out and all 3 were gay. Never saw one put out against their will in my brigade that I knew of.

Chambliss was dead on. The "survey" they did was worded in a way to guarantee the outcome and abut 30% of the Marines said they will get out if it passes.
These people don't listen to anyone other than the special interest groups that they believe will keep them in power.

I did like Graham's comments on the way the Senate has been doing business. Many in the Senate and Congress have betrayed their oaths of office and need to held accountable.
