Thread: CA Alert! California Legislature votes to restrict use of E-

Despite our massive unemployment, the legislature has passed AB 1236, which would prohibit state agencies, local governments, and special districts in California from requiring an employer to use the federal E-Verify system—even when that employer is a contractor to the government.

Several other states and local governments have enacted legislation to require the use of E-Verify by government contractors or businesses that require local licenses. Unfortunately, the legislature is moving the state in the opposite direction even as California's jobless rate has hit a post-World War II record of 12 percent.

The federal E-Verify system is one of our most valuable tools in the efforts to stop the deluge of illegal immigration and to give jobs to legal American workers. Voice your opinion.

I grew up in Calif and am sickened by the way it has become.

Does anyone need any more evidence that California is now under the control of the reconquista and La Raza advocates! It's only going to get worse! This is how fast the transformation has taken shape in this state. In 1994, the voters of California passed overwhelmingly proposition 187.
Less than 20 years later, E-Verify is being dismantled, the Dream Act for invaders has been passed and the entire state of California is basically a sanctuary state for La Aaza illegals!

This is like taking one step forward and two steps back. We have to stop this crap!

Today was California's Admission Day. When I was a kid we celebrated California's Birthday. I know because it is my birthday too. I was always proud to celebrate my birthday with California. It was a holiday with parades, etc. Now it is all but forgotten.

Most everyone I speak to has given up. Nobody knows what else they can do. It seems according to everyone that there are but two options, leave the state or sit by and watch the state fall around us.

It's amazing that Los Angeles celebrates Mexican Independence day. It really makes one wonder whether California is a U.S. State, or not. They only come here for the $$$$. Take that away, and they will go home.
