Only pictures of his brother and his wife , a Navy veteran and NOT a terrorist.

FBI Raids Home of Man Who Provided Weapons to Couple in San Bernardino Shootings

FBI agents executed a search warrant early Saturday morning on the California home of the man who reportedly purchased some of guns for the couple who went on a shooting spree in San Bernardino, killing 14 and wounding 21.

Agents raided the home of Enrique Marquez on Tomlinson Avenue in Riverside, Calif. shortly after 2 a.m. Saturday, a source told ticklethewire.com. It’s unclear what agents came away with.

Marquez was not home and had earlier self-admitted himself into a mental health facility in Long Beach, Calif.

The couple, Syed Rizwan Farook, 28, and Tashfeen Malik, 27, were shot and killed after the shootings this past week.

Federal authorities have not charged Marquez with any crime, but are probing into what role, if any, he played beyond buying the weapons and whether he knew of any of the couple’s plans.

Who is this guy? citizen or illegal? Does he have a prior history of mental illness or just convenient now? Why would mental patients be allowed to be guns? Why didn't they purchase outright instead of thru this hispanic straw that easily saw they were muslims? Aiding potential terrorists.

The FBI raided the home of Syed Farook’s friend on Saturday as part of the investigation into the San Bernardino terror attack.

Enrique Marquez Jr., 29, bought the two rifles used by Farook and his wife, Tashfeen Malik, to kill 14 people and wounded 21 others.

The guns were purchased legally three years ago, the Los Angeles Times reports. It’s not clear how Farook and his wife obtained the weapons.

1. Marquez Has Checked Himself Into a Mental Health Facility

The FBI has not yet interviewed Enrique Marquez, who checked himself into a mental health facility after the shooting, the Washington Post reports.

Marquez lives in Riverside, California, with his family.

The FBI raided the home early Saturday morning, smashing windows and a garage door. Agents removed items from the house. They have not yet said if they found anything of interest to the investigation.

2. The Rifles Were Illegally Modified, the ATF Says

The ATF says the two rifles used in the attack were purchased legally, but were then modified in a way that is illegal in California, the Los Angeles Times reports.

The Smith & Wesson M&P15 found at the scene was modified in an attempt to allow it to fire automatically, rather than semi-automatically.

The other rifle, a DPMS Model A-15, was altered so that it could use a high-capacity magazine that is banned under California law.

3. The 2 Handguns Used in the Shooting Were Purchased by Farook

Farook and Malik were also armed with two handguns, which were purchased legally by Farook.

Investigators also said they found thousands of rounds of ammunition, both with the couple and in their home, along with a dozen pipe bombs that they had built at their Redlands house.

Three pipe bombs were found in the conference room in San Bernardino where the shooting took place, poliec said.

The couple was wearing all black tactical gear during the attack.

4. Marquez & Farook Have Known Each Other Since Childhood & Shared an Interest in Cars

Marquez’s house, where he lives with his parents and siblings, is next door to one of Farook’s childhood homes.

A neighbor told the Daily Mail that Marquez and Farook had a shared interest in cars.

“Syed was obsessive about cars,” Lorena Agurre told the Daily Mail. “He would be there tinkering with cars all the time and sometimes Enrique would be with him.”

Another neighbor, Freddy Escamilla, told the Washington Post,

“They would walk over to each other’s yards to talk to each other. “It never seemed out of the ordinary.”

5. The FBI Has Not Said If Marquez Will Face Criminal Charges

The FBI has not yet said if Marquez will face charges as part of the terrorism investigation.

FBI Director James Comey said he is “not a suspect, at least at this point,” KABC reports.

Investigators have said there is no indication that the husband and wife terror team were part of a larger cell. ISIS has said the couple were supporters of their cause, but has not taken credit for the attack or said it was involved in the planning of it.
