A PROPOSAL for the week of 8/3/8:

After reading THIS article from the New York Times, I've finally reached my limit:

“Immigrants Facing Deportation by U.S. Hospitalsâ€

I'll do it too! We can simply ask " Did you mean the person/people in question are immigrants or illegals"? I want to make sure I have an accurate understanding of the issue/story.

..it’s WHAT I've been saying for I don’t know HOW long, it's an OBVIOUS ploy, meant to do exactly as it SAYS..!

I think if they keep trying to force Americans into taking a stand against Immigrants, then Americans are going to take that stand more often.

I just called down a paper for doing that in their online comment section. I had the top rated recomendation of all the post made.

People are on to that game and it makes them mad.

American citizens seem to be in a no-win situation. Many places police are not allowed to ask the immigration status of anyone they arrest. It is not politically correct anymore to say illegal alien but undocumented immigrant or just immigrant. And don't forget any American that objects to illegals taking advantage of social services, schools, hospitals, or the way drug cartels take over cities is just pure and simple racism.

Yes. This is a calculated manipulation on a seemingly small, but VERY important point.

Forget for a moment that "illegal immigrant" is considered by some to be "un-PC". These pubs don't even use "undocumented" or whatever other silly term they would deem more acceptable. No. Instead there is an OBVIOUS, CONSCIOUS effort here to combine, and confuse the two IDEAS, and ultimately lump them into one group.

When we allow this to happen, we LOSE traction.

While there are certainly valid issues for ANY country/society concerning LEGAL immigration (the amount allowed for societal and economic reasons, for instance), if we allow these MSM outlets to continue to purposefully substitute the word IMMIGRANT where ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT (or the like) is correct, we continue to allow ourselves to be painted as racist, xenophobic and otherwise overly protectionist.

And that doesn't help us.
