How about "Native of Mexico"-

Two victims of I-5 crash will be laid to rest Friday

A Tulare father and son who died Oct. 12 in a massive Southern California traffic collision will be laid to rest Friday.

Hugo Raymundo Rodriguez Sr., 38, was driving a truckload of cantaloupes to market in Los Angeles when his truck was caught up in a 31-vehicle pileup in a truck-bypass tunnel on Interstate 5, near Highway 14, in the mountains north of Los Angeles. Six-year-old Isaiah Rodriguez was accompanying his father on the trip.

They were among three people killed as fire swept through the tunnel, closing the freeway for more than a day.

Rodriguez, a native of Mexico, worked as a self-employed truck driver for 10 years; Isaiah, who was born in Tulare, was a student at Frank Kohn School in Tulare.

A rosary and Mass for the father and son will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Rita's Catholic Church in Tulare. Burial will be at the North Tulare Cemetery.
