Why there's a crisis

Recently I received a 13-page study titled, "Racing Backwards: The Fiscal Impact of Illegal Immigration in California, Revisited," by Philip J. Romero. This study was sent to me by Richard Mereu, counsel to U.S. Rep. Elton Gallegly.

This is a very complete study that provides costs and other detailed information that California spends on illegal immigrants. The study states that up to 20 percent of the entire yearly state budget is spent on illegal immigrants.

Recently, The Star had an article stating that $141 million is spent each year on college tuition for illegal immigrants in California.
It is no wonder California is suffering a financial crisis.

why is this not front anc center of any discussion in the senate or house on immigration and specifically on illegal immigration? you have to think that the drug cartels and other groups have corrupted our officials from teh border to washington. otherwise how do you explain this twilightzone we find ourselves in? It's a totaly insane situation. Everybody in and out of california knows about and the reasons of this crazy illegal alien the state finds itself in but no one sees the 800 pound gorilla in the room!

I don't get it either. They refuse to see the forest for the trees and will NOT even broach the subject! Insane!

Illegal immigrants impose a “taxâ€

It is just insane....

You just want to go to every stupid politician and scream in their faces "PLEASE, PLEASE for Lords sake kick these freeloaders out before it is too late".

This insanity is simply going to make us totally insolvent and we won't even be able to maintain a military to defend ourselves with.
