CAIR Furious over Robertson Giuliani Endorsement
CAIR Furious over Robertson Giuliani Endorsement
Wednesday, November 7, 2007 5:11 PM
A prominent national Islamic civil rights and advocacy group Wednesday urged GOP presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani to reconsider his acceptance of the endorsement of a controversial televangelist known for scathing attacks on Muslims and Islam.
CAIR, America's largest Islamic civil liberties group issued the following press release Wednesday:
In a news release on his campaign website, Giuliani is quoted as saying he is "encouraged" by the endorsement of Pat Robertson, chairman of the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN). "His experience and advice will be a great asset to me and my campaign," said Giuliani.
In 2002, President Bush repudiated rhetorical attacks on Islam by evangelical leaders. Media reports at the time said the president's remarks were prompted by attacks on Islam, particularly those of Pat Robertson, who said that Muslims are "worse than the Nazis." Bush said: "Some of the comments that have been uttered about Islam do not reflect the sentiments of my government or the sentiments of most Americans."
Then Secretary of State Colin Powell echoed the president's remarks when he told a State Department audience, "This kind of hatred must be rejected." The director of the American Jewish Committee called Robertson's "Nazi" omment "outrageous."
On his "700 Club" program, Robertson has repeatedly defamed Islam and Muslims. He called Muslims "satanic," claimed the Quran, Islam's revealed text, is "fraudulent" and said Islam is "a monumental scam." Robertson also called the Prophet Muhammad "an absolute wild-eyed fanatic, a robber and a brigand...a killer" and said the goal of Islam is "world domination."
He called Islam the "religion of the slavers," claimed Americans who convert to Islam exhibit "insanity" and said he would be wary of appointing Muslims to positions in the U.S. government, including judgeships.
In announcing his endorsement of Giuliani, Robertson referred to the "bloodlust of Islamic terrorists."
"It is truly disturbing that a presidential candidate of any party would accept the endorsement and seek the advice of a person with such a clear record of anti-Muslim bigotry," said CAIR National Legislative Director Corey Saylor.
CAIR, America's largest Islamic civil liberties group, has 33 offices and chapters nationwide and in Canada. Its mission is to enhance the understanding of Islam, encourage dialogue, protect civil liberties, empower American Muslims, and build coalitions that promote justice and mutual understanding.

CAIR can just get over it. It doesn't matter if they like or dislike who Robertson endorses. They are using this endorsement to get some attention and to bitch publically about Robertson. I don't know why anyone printed this rant. However, the press release just restated Robertson opinion of the Islamic religion. The irony in this is that CAIR is really being Robertson's mouth piece, by bringing to the public his message about their religion. If I were him, I would send them a thank you card.
Really, if you don't like it, then don't vote for Giuliani.

Here is why we need to be concerned about CAIR, they are in bed with the pound scum Representatives already.

[/quote]Loretta Sanchez - CAIR's congresswoman: Support for 'moderate friends of terror' and Hispano facist MECha - aka 'My race first'
Sisters Loretta and Lynn Sanchez accused of voter fraud and recruiting illegals to go to the polls
January 26, 2006
Lynn and Loretta Sanchez - CAIR's Rep and advocates in Congress accused of using illegals for votes - sister runs Orange County Labor Council and is accused and is accused of bartering union cards for green cards Both the sisters notion of civil rights which translated means "my race first". In order to procure the Hispanic vote Loretta Brixey reverted to her maiden name of Loretta Sanchez. Both sisters are regulars at CAIR events - and their picture appears together with those of other radical Islamists who have been helped to promote their agenda through the unceasing efforts of the Sanchez sisters.
Perhaps the advantage of being seen as a useful idiot (rather then just the latter), explains Sanchez's preoccupation with Muslim causes, and explains why, when asked about Social Security- she replied:'I've more important things to ask about than this silly Social Security thing.." http://ace.mu.nu/archives/077403.php
Associated Press
MIM: Besides advocating for CAIR - ths Saudi funded front group for Hamas - Sanchez also supports the MECha movement whose slogan is ;
"For the race everything. For those outside the race, nothing".
MECha is the student wing of the virulently anti semitic suicide bombing supporting Hispano facist group - the Voz de Aztlan.http://www.aztlan.net/women_martyrs.htm
In 2003 Sanchez stated that : "I can understand why nobody is stepping away," she said. "There's nothing to be ashamed of. To do that would be to deny MEChA is doing a good job." Indeed - one wonders how much the group may have done to secure the less then 1,000 votes which ousted her Republican rival.
The association with MECha's seems to have helped Antonio Villagairoisa, who became the mayor of Los Angeles in 2005. He was praised by the group for "not stepping away" and his victory was heralded as the beginning of the end of the white presence in California . http://www.militantislammonitor.org/article/id/1233
" La Voz de Aztlan compliments Antonio Villaraigosa for never repudiating MEChA under the intense pressure exerted by the English language media..."
The example set by Cruz Bustamante is noble and Antonio Villaraigosa is to be commended for his courageous resistance. On Tuesday, flags may be flying and autos seen with bumper stickers saying, "Los Angeles Today, Alta California Tomorrow". God Bless Aztlan! http://www.aztlan.net/alcalde_de_los_angeles.htm

I've always thought Robertson is a giant douche, but he is 100% correct when it comes to Islam. Most people are too afraid to admit that Islam is a death cult bent on world domination because we live in such a pc society these days. The more one learns about Islam, the more one realizes that the "extremists" aren't the only problem. When hundreds of millions of muslims around the world think OBL is the best thing since sliced bread, you know there is a problem with that "religion". We all need to pull our heads out of the sand and realize that Islam already tried to take over western civilization once and muslims are still stinging from that defeat. We can't depend on Europe to beat them back this time so it's up to the U.S. to do it.
Jorge Boosh's "compassionate war" against Islam has lessened the amount of collateral damage and civilian casualties at the expense of American soldier's lives. If it were up to me, I'd pull all our troops out of the ME and carpet bomb that backward part of the world until they unconditionally surrender like the Japs and Germans were forced to do at the end of WWII.

I am not sure how 'compassionate' the Iraqi people feel he is.

Muslim appeasement is never going to work, because the only appeasement that would work for them is an islamic theocracy.

Couple months ago I put in search engine ," radiation pagers ,US north border agents " and got several articles relating to this .
Now I can't find it . it was an article about border agents radiation pagers going off when a van with two middle eastern looking men inside . They called their suppervisors and were told to stand down . Also why was the only plane in the sky after 911 the Bin Laden famly jet out of Tampa Fl.
They have a lot of pull to be a group of non asimilating immigrants .
You don't see any islamic negative media coverage except on independant sites on web .

A Muslim man had invited the American soldiers from 'Chosen' Company 2-12 Cavalry to the church, where I videotaped as Muslims and Christians worked and rejoiced at the reopening of St John's, an occasion all viewed as a sign of hope. The Iraqis asked me to convey a message of thanks to the American people. 'Thank you, thank you,' the people were saying. One man said, 'Thank you for peace.' Another man, a Muslim, said 'All the people, all the people in Iraq, Muslim and Christian, is brother.' The men and women were holding bells, and for the first time in memory freedom rang over the ravaged land between two rivers. (Videotape to follow.)"

Muslims cannot live in this cicilization amoung ';infidels ' they are still acting like they did from their beginnings in the 1400 s . When they can't kill infidels they kill each other and this has been proven throughout their short history with mankind . They can insult and call others pigs and monkeys in other religions ,but can't handle the truth about their own shortfalls .
The whole world has gone into adoltry with one exstreme or the other and ,imo,I think we all feel something big is on the horizon .
That idiot and his one world promoting wife Yoko the Loco who visits pagan sites in Elberton Georgia like the Georgia Guidestones had a song called " Imagine" . The moral was no religion . Somebody should have told the potheads that most wars in poor nations are fought over food and resources ,not religion .
In my opinion it's not that religion is bad ,it is that too many religions are man made . Some witch doctor some where gets ideas and runs with it ,tells others , next thing ya know it's convert time . Just my own thoughts .
