Poll Workers needed for the November 8th, 2005 Election
Would you like to help your community and earn extra money at the same time? The County of San Bernardino Registrar of Voters is in need of bilingual people to serve as poll workers for the Special Statewide Election held on Tuesday, November 8, 2005.

No experience is required, they will train you. You must be a citizen of the United States, a registered voter and fluent in both Spanish and English.

You can earn $145 as an Inspector or $110 as a Clerk for assisting voters on Election Day, plus $15 for the 2-hour training class.

Anyone interested in serving their community should call the Election Services Division at (909) 387-8300 by Thursday, November 3, 2005.

Prometheus, I hate to tell you this but it is that way all over the Southwest. And American who ONLY speaks English cannot get a job but an Hispanic who ONLY speaks Spanish can. It is that way at Wal-mart, grocery stores, Target, you name it!

People are supposed to be bi-lingual now days. And they don't consider anything other than English and Spanish bi-lingual in the areas of this country where Hispanics are the majority. And, by the way, not so long ago, Texas joined four other states where Anglos are the minority. How's that grab you?
