Newt On Hannity
Newt has some amount of sense...he's saying the Mc Cain bill is all screwed up, and that any Guest Worker plan has to be one that sends every one here illegally back home first, and then when they have a contract offer, they could apply for a guest worker card that would include stringent reguirements of being allowed in to America to work.
In short, he agrees that all 12 million MUST go home, then from their home country find someone willing to hire them...not sure there would be a lot of Day Labor sites down in Mexico.

That was brought up at the committee meeting. Kennedy shot it down. And then that dingbat Graham from South Carolina got on there and started whining for them that this IS their home, blah, blah, blah, so that amendment was voted down. If they get guest worker status they get to stay. But they have to come forward and get CRC's etc before they can apply-- the way I understood it.
I don't think any of them are going to come forward because I will bet you dollars to dog-dootz that plenty of them have criminal records. They need to give them no more than 30 days to come forward or "adios amigo!" IF they do this at all.
So maybe that is why they claim eleven million instead of the twenty million they know are here.
And they better do something about this anchor baby BS, as well. That has to stop! And perhaps it should be dragged back to 2000 or so and anyone born after that is out of here with mama.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
