The seven year-old boy of the mother who's been living in a church in Chicago gave a letter to the White House Tuesday asking President Bush for help in preventing the deportation of his mother.

The letter written by the young (Saul?) Areellano pleaded with the White House to open the doors for a reunion with Elvira Arellano said Robert Lopez, with the group to defend the rights of immigrants without borders, which is located in Chicago.

The rest of the article goes on about how he was with Congressman Luis Guttierez, and describes the back-story about his mother's attempt to secure residency.

Illegals have no morals whatsoever. This worthless woman is just using her child to her advantage. Pathetic...

Here's a direct translation from a computer program. (close enough)

_The seven-year-old son of a woman who has sheltered in a church in Chicago delivered a letter in the White House on Tuesday, asking the president George W for help. Bush so that he avoids the deportation of his mother to Mexico.

The manuscript letter that the young man Saul Arellano delivered to an employee of the White House out of the doors asks for a meeting with Bush to discuss with him the possibility that Elvira Arellano remains in the United States, said Robert López, spokesman of the defending group of the rights of immigrants Centro without Borders, with head office in Chicago.

" It was pawned in doing this and insuring itself of delivering this letter on behalf of his mother ", said López

Saul Arellano, American citizen, presented himself with the representative Luis Gutiérrez in a meeting of the Hispanic Block of the Congress on Tuesday and then it went to the White House in company of the democratic conferee and members of the Center without Borders.

The child travelled to Washington with the executive director of the group, Emma Lozano, and it was returning on Wednesday, said López. On August 15, Elvira Arellano had to deliver to herself the federal authorities to be deported. Instead, she asked to be sheltered in the Church Methodist Adalberto of a Latin quarter.

On Friday, the federal judge rejected a judgment initiated by the shepherd of the church on behalf of Saul, in which it was alleging that the deportation of the mother was violating the rights of the child.

The standard practice in most countries is that the child stays with the parent. The USA is generous enough to allow the child to stay if there are other provisions that are being made.
This takes that generosity and replaces it with a demand for a reverse of the standard practice
the adult stays with the child. This despite the fact that the US did not ask Elvira to bear the child. In fact she had come back in violation of having left under a deportation order.
I support enforcement and see its lack as bad for the 3rd World as well. Remittances are now mostly spent on consumption not production assets. Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

What I don't understand is why can't little anchor boy go back to Mexico w/ her? This worthless woman makes it sound like her child can't go w/ her. If the child has dual citizenship, he can certainly move back w/ her!

Sippy, I'm glad to see your bringing up the morals issue too. I've been saying for several years that at the root of illegal immigration there is a "morals and ethics" issue. People who break laws, lie and cheat the system and pollute the countryside, drive without licenses, etc. prove over and over again they are without morals or ethics. And our President calls them "good people" who only come here to work...
Illegal aliens remain exempt from American laws, while they DEMAND American rights...
