Good ole Ron Kirk. Former Democratic Mayor of Dallas , first black to hold that position . Proposed and passed the Trinity River Project a 246 million $ plan in 1994 that to date has not had one shovel of dirt turned. Ran for Congress and luckily John Cornyn beat him. He returned to law and being a lobbyist before apparently doing some favors for Obama and gaining his current appointment. Has been an avid supporter of NAFTA , which is where you have been hearing those giant sucking sounds coming from , Ross Perot's words not mine. appointed by non other than Barry Hussien Sotero Obama.
