Canadian National Post: Chart of Drug Cartel Invasion

Mexican drug cartels' spreading influence: Graphic | Graphics | News | National Post

It should be noted that this chart only reflects drug trafficking from South and Central America and the Cartels. There is also major drug trafficking going on from other parts of the world that also go along with immigration.

It's curious that although it is from a Canadian publication it doesn't show any drug flow north of the U.S.-Canada border.

Wow. I completely missed that. I guess that would embarrass the Canadian open borders crowd. And also start US viewers thinking about our own porous borders to the north.

That's a really good question. Exactly what happens to drugs that move into Canada? What is being done to combat trafficking to the north?
