Ratcheting up her open borders rhetoric a notch, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi told a rally in San Francisco that enforcement of immigration laws was "un-American." She also referred to illegal aliens as "very, very patriotic."

CAPS National Media Director Rick Oltman was there to film the event and capture her comments. This story encompassed the entire evening's news coverage last night on Fox News last night, including The O'Reilly Factor, The Laura Ingraham Show, and Hannity. This morning it was also featured on the front page of the DrudgeReport, and mentioned on The Rush Limbaugh Show, among others.

I'll act on this too. I saw her little 'un-American' speech on video. Her little smile when they were clapping for her made my stomach clench.

I hope the heat is only growing for her with these completely uncalled for comments.

I was thinking for arguments sake, since Pelosi and the US Government has stopped enforcing the immigration laws against illegal aliens in the USA, when are they going to stop enforcing it against aliens outside the USA?

Right now the US government greatly restricts the issuance of travel visas to people in third world countries, for example Nigeria. This is the only practical way for illegals to get here from the rest of the world, on a travel visa. By restricting these travel visas while at the same time leaving our southern border unguarded over the last 20 years, the US has ensured that 80% of illegal aliens are from Latin America. Now the traitors in DC want to legalize these 20 million Latin American illegal aliens.

So when is the US going to give travel visas to everyone in the world who wants one, you know stop enforcing the laws for everyone, and not just for Latin Americans? Just stopping enforcement for Latin Americans is racist. If unhindered immigration is a Civil Right for the "Latino community" (as Gutierrez said), shouldn't it be a civil right for all communities?

Of course I think the laws should be enforced against everyone, and we need less immigration, but if Pelosi is going to stop enforcement against only one group isn't that racism?

What if we use that argument against her, if she is going to stop enforcement against one group she needs to stop it against all groups, by giving a travel visa to anyone who wants one. Not doing so is racist. By their logic not giving them one is a violation of their civil rights.

What do you think their response would be?
