Alert! Bush travels to Arizona to promote amnesty!

President Bush used the Arizona border, American flags and a platoon of Border Patrol agents as his photo-op to continue his push for amnesty for illegal aliens. In reality, his plan denigrates the work of the Border Patrol by making their efforts meaningless. Those who broke our immigration laws would receive the gift of American citizenship. This, in turn, would encourage more foreigners to break the law.

While the White House proposal includes some enhanced enforcement provisions, these are largely window dressing designed to ease passage of their amnesty plan.
