    The REAL Tea Party Convention

    In my opinion......
I for one, am not going to let the Republican party fool me by putting Sarah Palin out there as though she were a conservative who respects our sovereignty. She does not. For some people, the Tea Party's were started BECAUSE of the pro-amnesty politicians like Sarah Palin, John McCain and Rick Perry, to name just a few.

Sarah Palin is against the candidates who are for legal immigration, and for the candidates who are for 'a path to citizenship.'

The Real Tea Party Conventions - April 15th

(I hope this has not already been posted.....I didn't see it if it has)

    Dear Fellow Tea Party Patriots,

Tea Party Patriots, an organization with a reach of millions of members and over 1,000 voluntarily affliated tea party and 912 local groups asks: WHY WOULD 600 PEOPLE AT A RALLY CREATE A MEDIA FREENZY?

For the last year, Tea Party Patriots have come together in every state across the nation, held tea parties in larger cities to smaller towns and nearly 2 million tea party patriots showed up in DC in September to rally together for the cause of liberty. Where was the media then?

Why did the media choose to show up at a tea party rally in Nashville that marketed itself as a "national convention" with only 600 participants who claimed to speak on behalf of the movement?

Why would the media show up just because a national figure was asked to speak? National figures spoke all over the country in local tea party rallies all year and in DC on September 12th.

We believe the answer to "Why?" is this:

There are heavy efforts underway to align us to a political party.
There is great concern that the Tea Party Movement will become a third party.
The media did not do their homework on this "national convention" and is now creating misinformation on the movement.

The Tea Party Movement started because of these tactics and we will not be used like this. We are smarter than that and we will call out any one and any organization who tries to undermine the grassroots movement known as the Tea Party Movement.

    Our challenge regarding this misrepresentation:

    For the media:
While we appreciate the national spotlight, we challenge you to do your homework on press releases and marketing strategies of groups and individuals. Had you given the National March on Washington the same coverage you gave this "convention" it would have been more realistic of the voice of the people. During that march, it was evident what the people of the movement wanted our platform to be: LIBERTY.
We challenge the media to show up in their individual cities and towns on April 15th as we gather for our "regional conventions" and Stand Up for LIBERTY once again.

    For the politicians:
We believe the thrust of our effort has been and will continue to be providing proper forums for all Americans to voice their opinions about their existing government and the changes that are necessary to restore the country to a constitutional footing. We do not dictate to our members. They get enough of that from the parties and from our government. They want the freedom to find facts, participate individually and act accordingly. We the People are smart and will not buy any tactics by politicians to use or co-opt us or the movement.

    For the people:
Become well-informed citizens and know the tactics that will be used against us - especially in 2010. This is an important year politically and we will do our best to inform and educate you on issues. We will also alert you to tactics used by political parties and outside interests to hijack the movement. We ask you to do the same thing on a local basis so we can stop the madness and right our country to common sense decision-making.
If you have not joined a local Tea Party, find one and get involved. This is where you can meet up with like-minded individuals who love their country and want to protect it. To find a local tea party group, go to http://teapartypatriots.org/Search.aspx.
Tea Party Patriots is a grassroots organization represented by ordinary citizens standing up for LIBERTY and dedicated to reclaiming America's founding principles.

You are the heart and soul of the Tea Party Movement. Thank you for promoting the causes of fiscal responsibility, constitutionally limited government, and free markets with us!

The Tea Party movement has split into multiple factions and some of it firmly in control of the GOP as demostrated last night in Nashville. The real Tea Party groups need to quickly separate themselves from the Republican Puppet Groups and unite under one charter. They also need to make a statement concerning what happened in Nashville and redefine themselves. Without this clarification, The Real Tea Party movement will lose support of Democrates, Independents, etc.

Classic Divide and Conquer, as expected. Problem is, they have alot of money. Palin is co-opted, but still a voice for now. Illegal Immigration is not being addressed like it should be, they just USED Tom Tancredo for show. These pliticians are slick, but worse yet is they have "All the Money".

STill a long haul endless struggle, and we have to struggle to get illegal immigration recognized as a central issue. Most people have dropped it off the radar.

The media won't cover those statements. The government owned media like CNN/MSNBC/FOX are very content to have Palin now the spokesperson of the teaparty movement... in hopes she will kill it.

We need to just continue what we are doing and get people like John McCain kicked out of office. If they see Palin campaigning for that SOB and he loses... well they will have a big laugh out of it... but we will have the last laugh

From what I have already found out, the TEA Party National Convention was done by a group calling themselves the TEA Party Nation. This is not a part of the TEA Party Patriots which wrote this letter. The TEA Party Nation is headed by the head of the GOP in Tennessee and backed by donation from the GOP.

I suspect the GOP is afraid of the TEA Party movement and knows it will hurt their chance to take over government again if they start their own party or put in their on candidates. So what better way to discredit the movement than to hijack it and let discourage the people who support the movement by changing TEA Party ideas.

Pretty slick move by the GOP. Just a better reason to no trust either party or the media who is up to their neck in this one.

No they won't you can't ruin this kind of ground swell from all of us our numbers are strong....

We just have to make sure we "kick them all out" and do our best to support people from the local level up who support the policy's of fiscal responsibility, who uphold the oath of office they take, and work for the people not some other groups agenda and globalist theories of control.

To me is it simple if they voted for the bailouts, if they voted for health care, cap and trade and for amnesty, if they voted against E-verify we all know the votes of control and destruction they voted for and against the constitution and us.

If they voted these in the past they go...period...at this point there past record will show you how to vote. They will all be lying at this point to get re-elected. I wouldn't vote for them they all need to go...They work for us not the other way around.. If the new ones elected do the same thing they go too again and again and again..till they get it right.

The group I belong to here, has made a clear choice to stay the course based on the original principles that were laid out by the movement. Also if anyone wants who is in the Port Huron area, we're having a viewing of the Tea Party film here on the 27th. It's a rented venue at the auditorium, as they wanted to make sure we had enough room for folks.

And we've already made sure that every member knows we are "NOT" affiliated with the Nashville group in any way.
