Thread: TEXAS residents-please sound off!!!

Go to khou.com and submit a question for the goveror's debate in Dallas on Jan 29th.
Our candidates tend to avoid direct questions like, (Why should citizens and legal immigrants support a pathway to citizenship for illegal immigrants?) Or, (What is your plan to stop illegal immigration?) Or, Do you believe that illegal immigrants steal jobs from legal immigrants?
I have already submitted my question. Maybe if enough interest is generated on this topic it will force the candidates to answer the questions.

My question...What is your plan to reduce the out of control illegal immigration in Texas?

Medina may be the only one to seriously address this question.

The candidates for TX governor only want to talk about border security. They don't want to talk about real legislation.

Texas, like all states, could save alot of money IF they actually did investigations into anyone who comes to fill out applications for money.
i bet if you go to the addresses listed you would find that there are more than two working people there and probably a couple of newer vehicles.

Sent in my questions. We already know Rick Perry plans on doing nothing, Hutchinson wants to only deport criminals. That leaves Medina. Both Democratic candidates support amnesty as well.

I don't think Bill White has a snow ball's chance in h*** getting elected. I don't think too many are fond of him outside of inner city Houston.

My question:

80% of Americans want illegals out of the country. Since Texas has been taken over by illegals thanks to Perry and Hutchison, how will the next governor deal with illegal invaders? We already know that Perry and Hutchison would like to reward criminal behavior with amnesty (Hutchison, ALL illegals are criminals, not just the ones that murder and rape) so I am curious to see if ANY of the candidates are actually serious about the situation. Perry and Hutchison, you have had MANY years to tackle the issue, yet you have made sure that Texas is the biggest port for terrorism because you don't care about our borders unless it is voting season. Shame on you both!! Medina for Governor!!
