    Caucus Verses Real Voting

After watching the Iowa caucuses last evening I came away unimpressed.Just gathering in a group while party activists can begin publicly persuading others to join another group leaves too much of an opening for a very persuasive party activist to talk others into joining their group instead of staying with their favorite candidate.Peer pressure could cause some to give in when they really don't want to.Maybe i'm old fashioned but let me vote my conscious in private, not in a public arena.JMO. I can't wait until the real voting starts and the people of other states start voting as individuals. Then we'll see who they REALLY support.

    Unimpressed

On the one hand, I thought it was sheer craziness. Leave it to democrats to think that setup was reasonable. But the longer I watched on CSPAN, the more I liked it.

Think about being about to walk across to your neighbor and go, "Do you realize your candidate is soft on illegal immigration? Don't you want to change your mind?

Then again, with our group. I'm not sure it'd be ... safe.

I couldn't imagine the Romney versus Paul brawls.
