* During the past decade, about 13 million new immigrants arrived in the United States legally and illegally. Accounting for emigration and deaths, the net foreign-born population increased by some 8 million people.
* An additional 10 million births to foreign-born women were recorded during the 2000 decade.

* Net immigration plus births to immigrants swelled the U.S. population by some 18 million people during the previous decade, accounting for about two-thirds of the population growth during that period.

* The population surge of the 2000s was the third largest in U.S. history, exceeded only by the 1950s and 1990s.

So does this mean that before we take care of our own Baby Boomers on SS that we're going to have the Immigrant Boom on SS? Wow .. that's going to get sticky asking Americans to pay for that one, huh?

Ohh but according to Obama and the Dems immigrants can't recieve SS without first putting in 40 credits. Of course SS administration says something different saying they use average statistics to give free credits to older immigrants as they say these immigrants likely paid into a similiar program back home and they shouldn't have to lose that....

Course thats how we now have plenty of immigrants collecting SS who never paid a dime into the SS fund. They left their country of their free will so IF they even had a program like SS they voluntarily gave it up. However in truth very few of the major immigrant countries have any such program.

Bernanke will likely further wreck the dollar attempting in vain to stimulate the economy enough that jobs will be created for all these immigrants while the exploding population creates real resource shortages in essential commodities driving prices up. Falling dollar + rising prices = a SS monthly check that probably won't buy all that much. Yeah, I know there is supposed to be COL adjustments, but I bet that doesn't keep up with reality and it's even doubtful how long a government can be sustained by selling bonds in exchange for monopoly money. Besides that, SS is structured as an unsustainable Ponzi scheme anyway -- unless population, GDP, job numbers, and natural resources can all grow to infinity (which they can't).

Soros hasn't been buying up commodities, including food grains, while simultaneous funding U.S. open border groups because he is a nice guy. He knows more people competing for what he owns will make him richer in the long run and manipulating his useful idiots to achieve it.

Some of the articles about this wave of "immigrants", if not most, use the old trick of comparing percentages instead of the actual numbers.
