Cesar Chavez, warned us decades ago that lawlessness breeds lawlessness; that allowing illegal immigration would drive down wages and import poverty. His predictions have been proven accurate. He him self at one time use to report Illegal Immigrants crossing the border. The first Minuteman in action We should of heeded his words he knew that uncontrolled immigration would keep depressing the wages of the present Immigrants in America. If you have controlled Immigration people in the fields today would most likely be making higher salaries and better benefits.
The fact that Chavez was anti-illegal immigration is relatively unknown in Berkeley. The building that hosts the Student Learning Center even shows a misspelling of the UFW leader's name (Caesar Chavez) despite being named after him. I guess they have a lot to learn about the man.
The kids should be in school learning the history of this man. What are they teaching in those schools?

Are their any teachers in the group? Really do they teach anything about this guy in California?

I read that he had called INS on people who he suspected were illegally in the country.
