Don't guess I'll have to worry about living in Boston.

In other words, Boston is turning into a place for the very rich and their humble servants. Just like Mexico.

As for the perfect storm, a lot of money was spent to create it. $100 million went to the Sierra Club. $1 billion to ethnic groups like LaRaza. Billions more in campaign contributions to politicians. Who knows how much from Corporations who lean on newspaper editors to support open borders.

This is exactly why we have the first and second amendments, for this kind of situation. Time to start using them.

Notice how the Chamber positions on immigration and the McKennedy amnesty bill are almost the same? That's because the Chamber helped to write it! This makes them a juicy target, since they influence our corrupt open borders Senators.

As for the propaganda the Chamber puts out, consider this info from the National Conference of State Legislators:

    * The size of the U.S. work force increased by 16.7 million workers in the 1990s.Ă‚Â* Of these workers, 6.4 million were immigrants (38%).4

In other words, the number of American workers increase 10 million in the 1990's! Yet the Chamber says all they want is a "stable" work force.

    * 2005 projections estimate that between 2015-2020, the fertility rate in the U.S. will be 1.91 children per woman, dropping below the “replacement level (two children is considered replacement).

How the heck do they know what Americans will do 10 years from now?

    * According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, there will be 27 million new jobs between 2002-2012 requiring a high school diploma or less education.

Not if American workers with a high school or less education were paid $10 to $20 an hour. This 27 million number is based upon immigrants working for minimum wage, it is a self fulfilling prophecy.

    * Population estimates indicate that immigrants will generate all net labor force growth in the next twenty years because the size of the native-born population between the prime working ages of 25-54 will not grow.Ă‚Â*

In other words, even with NO IMMIGRATION, the US work force would be stable. Even if all illegals were deported and legal immigration was stopped, there would be about 16 million (12%) more American workers today than in 1990. That is .8% more every year. For the future, if Americans were paid more, they would probably have more children, leading to an increasing future work force. Yet the Chamber claims all they want is a stable work force!!

They are greedy lying a-holes!! What they really want is the workforce to increase 2% to 3% a year, with corresponding wage reductions for American workers!! Let's give them hell!!

"We have no problem with increased border enforcement in a reasonable way, or with reasonable requirements that employers verify the work status of who they hire, but we strongly oppose the House bill, as does much of the business community, because it is simply unworkable, unreasonable and fundamentally unfair," said Tom Donohue, president of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
That's too bad, tell all of your bottom-feeding business friends that employing illegal immigrants is ILLEGAL and to get that through their thick skulls. Any company employing them is an illegal company; non-legit. If you can't afford to pay legals as employees, you shouldn't be in business. Do it the legal way, or get out of the way!
