    Cheap Labor?

Is that head of lettuce really cheap?

"The phrase "cheap labor" is a myth, a farce, and a lie. There is no such thing as "cheap labor." Take, for example, an illegal Mexican who sneaks in here with his wife and five children. He takes a job for five or six dollars an hour. At that wage with six dependents he pays no income tax, yet at the end of the year gets an "earned income credit" of up to $3,200 free. He qualifies for Section 8 housing and subsidized rent, food stamps, and free (no deductible, no co-pay) health care. His children get free breakfasts and lunches at school, and require bi-lingual teachers and books that taxpayers provide. He doesn't have to worry about car insurance, life insurance, or homeowners insurance. Taxpayers provide Spanish language signs, bulletins, and printed material. He cannot be fired, harassed, or sued. He and his family receive the equivalent of $20 to $30 an hour in benefits, while working Americans are lucky to have $5 or $6 an hour left after paying their bills and his, and paying for increased crime, graffiti, and trash cleanup.

    Cheap labor? My a-s!"

    Total nonsense on labor cost

How many illegals do you know or have known? I have known many the reality of the situation is nothing as you paint it.

People who are here illegally don't apply for welfare. They overpay their taxes to ensure that the IRS doesn't come after them. They don't ever file thus there is no "earned income credit" benefit to them. Their names may be fake on the papers, but the paperwork and social security number is real. That is a REAL license and with a real license and car registration, they have to carry insurance. So you have no idea what you are talking about when you say that they don't have to worry about insurance.

Life insurance? He doesn't have to worry about life insurance? Since when have I worried about whether you have life insurance or you cared if I did?

It will be your a-s if these people go back and the price of food, construction for (your house or place of business and roads), hotels, etc went through the roof - which it will.

When was the last time you went to a Social Security Administration Office or one of your county Social Services Office?

If the names are fake, the paperwork is fraudlent, not valid and probably illegal to use.

A "real" license obtained through fraud is illegal to use. It is a known fact that many illegals do obtain insurance in order to register their vehicle but never make the second or any further premium payments.

Why would the price go up? If these places are employing illegals, why are we not seeing lower prices now??

Diegonavy, paying legal employees a living wage will drive prices up somewhat. However, the states and the Feds will take in more income tax monies and the tax burden to all tax payers will decrease. This will increase the amount of money in the U.S. economy.

This will also put an end to the current quasi socialistic system that we now have and will return the U.S. to a free market economy.

This is basic free market economics that most of us, in the free world, learn in high school.

BTW, most of us live and in some cases work with illegals. We see the "cash under the table salaries" and the "disappearing act" that they pull whenever LE is in the area. We also see the impossible life styles that many illegals enjoy while we are left with the bills and taxes that they run up. We know that something is wrong when low or no income people spend thousands of dollars on the wheels and tires on their top of the line SUVs.

    Diegonavy,

I fear you are very misinformed, in denial - or worse --

These people work as contract labor - they flash a SS# - and no taxes are withheld - the 'employee' gets a 1099 at the end of the year and it is up to him/her to file and pay. We all are sure they do just that -

They do not, by and large, carry auto insurance. Ask anyone in Texas why their auto insurance is through the roof - to pay for that little thing called 'uninsured motorist' - that means mostly illegals. When they do purhcase insurance - they buy it for 6 mos or a year and pay one month. This furnishes them with a proof of insurance for 6 months - and I feel sure copies of that are passed around. So, no, they don't carry auto insurance.

As a matter of fact, however, there is a good chance more might have life insurance than have auto insurance. They do believe in life insurance.

Now you do realize that someone was doing those jobs before the illegals came. The chickens were being plucked, the cows were being milked, the motel rooms were cleaned, the houses were being built, and guess what - we could all afford lettuce.

It is the upkeep of million of illegals we can no longer afford.

This is the future of our children - our nation we are talking about -

A flourishing trade in fradulant documents exists wherever illegals gather. One of the national TV "news magazines" did an episode wherein they went to Los Angeles and secretly videotaped the profitable trade that provides all the documentation needed for illegals to pass themselves as legal citizens.

Use the fradulent documents until one gets the earned income tax credit then grab some new ones!!!!!

There's also the growing number of identity thefts illegals resort to, often creating a financial nightmare for the LEGAL citizen.

But, go ahead and support the invasion. Maybe when you are diagnosed with drug-resistant TB and face month's of treatments at $200,000 or more cost to you your love of invaders will grow even larger.
