Little Village street vendors to protest $800 ticket at City HallWednesday

This Wednesday at 12:30 street vendor are going to protest at City Hall, moreas 15 tickets has been giving to them at 26 street and 30 vendors from 47thstreet has been threaten to ticketing if they continues selling.

Little Village street vendors and Back of the Yards vendors arepushing for the authorities to the misery with high tickets over 500 dollarsfor want the chance to bring bread to the table.

They are going to tell their own histories alongwith other street vendors from the Little Village and Back of the Yards areaswho plan a Street Vendors Association' news conference to express theirconcerns about the attitude of the city of Chicago toward their work. Theirconference is set for 12:30 pm. Wednesday, July 9, in front of the City Hall of Chicago.

Executives of the Vendors Association are going to talk about the irregularconditions that the Street Vendors confront every day without a city ordinanceto protect their activities.
