Huckabee seems like 'one of the boys' to me.

If I seem to recall isn't that what Bill Clinton was referred to. "Just one of the boys"?

We are going to have to step out of the mainstream candidates to get anyone who cares about this country.

It bothers me that Christians are getting involved in politics as a group. I think a Christian should vote his/her conscience and should vote. For a group, a church, a congregation as a whole to somehow align with any candidate is bad for Christianity.

Politics is a nasty, dirty business. It isn't somewhere we should be taking Christ's Church. "lay down with dogs' and all that ---
    Parden the interruption but,
whats one of the boys ???

The only similarity I see is the SYSTEM itself. Elites and their thirst for cheap labor. We ENDED slavery in the past, and we will END modern day slavery (illegal immigration). If we want our "second chance" it will be to punish the modern day slave-owners, which will result in attrition through enforcement. Huckabee is a complete moron.
Serve Bush with his letter of resignation.

    See you at the signing!!

Giuliani Shows Love For Dems and Huckabee

ABC News Jan Simmonds reports: At a Town Hall at Saint Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire, Rudy Giuliani showed his bi-partisan side and for a moment spoke warmly of the Democratic candidates running for president.

"I look at the Democratic candidates, the three leading Democratic candidates and here’s what I see," said Giuliani. "Besides all the policy differences that we have, and obviously there are many, I see good people. I see honorable people. I respect them because they are going through the same process as I am going through, and which is hard."

"I don’t express any sympathy for them," he added. "You’re doing it because you love to do it… but it takes a certain kind of person to put themselves out there like that. And I respect all of them for that."

Giuliani also took the time to discuss the possibility of Mike Huckabee, R-Ark., as being his vice presidential nominee in responding to a question from the crowd.

"I have no idea who I would pick as Vice President," said Giuliani. "It would be really presumptuous for me or anybody else to be suggesting who they would pick for Vice President."

"First let me tell you I really like Mike Huckabee," the former New York City mayor added. "I have known him a long time."

"He has a great sense of humor, a great heart. He’s a good man and of course he is going to be on anybody’s list… but he doesn’t want to hear that because he wants to be president. And he has a right to like to be President."

Giuliani did note though that his ideal VP choice would be someone who would have a full and active role at the White House.

"The Vice President I would take, would be someone I’d be really comfortable in being a complete partner, who would know what I was doing and what I was describing," said Giuliani. "And that’s a real intricate choice."

Looks like a vote for Giuliani could be a vote for Huckabee as VP!
