Civics 101 Question
The more I get into how our government works, the more I am convinced that it works in mysterious ways.
There were many articles in the news this morning stating that 'negotiations' on the immigration issue have 'yet to begin'. I had thought that they would be in the House Judiciary Committee, but I don't see anything on their calendar.
Where do these 'negotiations' take place? Is it a formal committee? If so, who is on it? How can I follow what is being done? I don't want to read about it in the news after it is a 'done deal'; I want to influence the process itself."When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on." - Franklin D. Roosevelt
