Clinton, Obama Address La Raza Conference

    Rachael Aram
    Reporting

(CBS4) MIAMI BEACH Two top Democratic contenders in the presidential race spoke Sunday to the National Council of La Raza, the nation's largest Hispanic civil rights group.

Sunday morning, New York Senator Hillary Clinton told the gathering at the Miami Beach Convention Center, she would prefer to pass a comprehensive immigration bill that would provide a path to legalization for immigrants in the United States.

But, she was quick to add, there were some aspects of the current immigration reform proposal that she believes have a chance of passing on their own. For example, she pointed to the so called "Deam Act" that would help students who are brought to the U.S. as young children go to college and eventually become citizens.

Illinois Senator Barack Obama addressed the conference Sunday afternoon.

The organization had invited the top three Republican candidates; Mitt Romney, John McCain and Rudy Giuliani to speak as well, but all three said they would not be able to attend according to La Raza officials.

Other conference speakers include Gov. Charlie Crist, Wal-Mart President Lee Scott and the Rev. Al Sharpton.

Also during the conference, La Raza will launch a new campaign to register and mobilize millions of immigrant voters, who are mostly Hispanic, to take part in next year's presidential elections.

La Raza's 2007 Annual Conference and Latino Expo will run through Tuesday.

Uh, hey, La Raza, millions of immigrant voters cannot be mobilized to vote unless they are citizens. That would be voter fraud. If they are here legally, they still can't vote unless they are citizens. La Raza does not run this country, law-abiding Americans do. Stop this anarchy by a racist group who represents Mexico and has no respect for the U.S.A.

This is what i don't understand...

IF the majority of illegal immigrants have "fake" papers... fake drivers license, fake social.... can they still vote?

How do they actually "catch" voter fraud? And how easy is it to implement?????

I wonder if there is anyting we can initiate or do to stem that flow..

Considering the huge majority of Americans who are against illegals, it's going to be really tough for those two. You don't pander to the minority against the majority, which is opposed to their agenda and expect to win!

America needs to wake up! Hillary is for Amnesty and so is Obama. I'm counting the days tell Bush is out of office. If the sheeple elect Hillary or Obama, we are going to be no better off than we are under Bush. We are running out of time because the illegals are taking over this country just with their large numbers!

Many that are caught have numerous fake ID's

The question is, how many times can they vote?

Voter fraud is rampant. There are likely millions of registered voters that have done so fraudently. It's a real problem.

    Let's rephrase that..

MIAMI BEACH Two top Democratic terorrists in the presidential race spoke Sunday to the National Council of La Raza, the nation's largest Hispanic terorrist group.

If they try and drag this country down with their lawlessness, they are terorrists! Call them what they are.

Traitor scum. Pandering to illegal aliens who aren't even allowed to be voting.

The Democrats love to register illegal aliens to vote. To them it's just a meaningless legal technicality.

Rattler--IMHO, this is another form of terorrism--circumventing our laws governing our election process. Anyone who participates should be labeled a TERORRIST!
