Thread: Just heard Romney on C-span (Amnesty)

On C-span...campaign 2008 This is what I heard, these guys are going to stick it to us if they get in office. The writing is on the wall. How could Tancredo back him!!


I just heard Romney campaigning and a lady asked him if he would give a pathway to illegals and if they had to go home...his answer( I might add under duress) was they will have to get in line behind everyone else. She said would they have to go back to Mexico and he said (as he was desperatly trying to get away from her) Ultimately if they don't get permanent residency This man is unbelieveable!!!

If this is not amnesty what is...evidently he plans on giveing them permanent residency....helloooo is that not amnesty?

Well, he's right. They can get permament residency after living here illegally. A lot of them do it and those organizations and attorneys have been giveing them how to classes with our tax dollars. They marry citizens, they have anchor babies, they find a stupid sponsor... and they can get a green card.

Your welcome, I get mad everytime i hear one of these traitors say it, and am sick of hearing them change their lieing stories....Everyone should post everytime they hear one of these crooks lie so like we are so stupid we don't understand what they are saying..

Lucky for him that lady was not me, as he was trying to run i probably would have grabbed the rat by the tie and got in his lieing face, instead of stuttering like an idiot as she did, know wonder we can't get straight anwers out of the guys, people are not demanding them.

And some will point out the flaws of every candidate they don't support.

If the candidate is on the same side of illegal immigration, don't nit-pick on every issue that is unrelated to immigration.

All those other issues are not what ALIPAC is about.

I'm not worried he'll give amnesty, I sincerely do believe he'll keep his word on that.

I'm concerned about something I heard a while back of the possibility of him opening up MORE legal immigration.

That question has to be addressed..

But the vast MAJORITY [about 60%] of illegals use ‘points of entry’. An interesting PERSONAL observation on this, is that they just pay a small fee of $6.00 for a ‘temporary TWO DAY’ pass to visit: ‘Make Up a Name’ on the other side of the border; but they never come back, and MOST NEVER planned on it!

I DON’T feel sorry for the illegal alien just because he/she is working for say, $5/hr in the USA, [they're averaging MUCH more than that!] ..because the cost of living averages to be TEN times LESS in Mexico then here! So $5/hr translates to $50/hr for you and I! The majority of illegal aliens are not stupid, but just as GREEDY as their illegal employers! Of course I would ‘pick lettuce’ [etc] for $50/hr.. HERE!

..and NOT all illegals are being paid ‘cash’, and I'm getting tired of hearing they're working for ‘slaves’ wages! What a freaking JOKE! Right now, I'll guarantee you they're ALL working for MORE than $7/hr! At LEAST 50% of illegals are being paid by check. The problem is NOT ONLY are they taking CITIZENS jobs, AND/OR that they are committing fraud, AND/OR identity theft, AND/OR destroying someone else’s credit [and maybe life!], but most are also ‘claiming’ 3-10+ ‘dependants’, thus NOT paying ANY taxes! The illegals that are working for ‘cash’ [and MANY who aren’t], are ALSO claiming ‘poverty’ AND receiving subsidies!

What "exactly" did he say wrong---nothing!! If they do not find a way of getting legal----through visas, residency applications, etc.---they go home. He said nothing wrong.
