    Greetings from Washington DC

    Hello friends,

This is William and I'm in DC. Yesterday was a very busy day with the rally near the capital bldg. and the rally in Herndon VA last night. Both events were well attended and very secure even though the left wing and right wing fringe groups tried to show up.

You know you have a mainstream movement when the left and right fringe are both throwing rocks your way.

Im busy busy busy working on the NC delegation about Guest Worker. I will have a more detailed update for you all when I return.

Ive already met several ALIPAC Activists from our site in person and everywhere I go when I say Im with ALIPAC eyes light up and people go "Oh yea!"

    W. - After you get your work done stop into The Old Ebbitt Grill. Any cabby knows where it is. A lot of important people hang out there. From their website:

    Home > About the Ebbitt
Old Ebbitt Grill is just steps from The White House and museums in downtown Washington. Established in 1856, it was a favorite of Presidents Grant, Cleveland, Harding and Theodore Roosevelt and is still a popular meeting spot for political insiders, journalists, celebrities and theater-goers.
Its Beaux-Arts facade, mahogany and velvet booths and bars set in marble, brass and beveled glass are Washington at its finest, and The Oyster Bar at Old Ebbitt is D.C.'s most famous.
If you are driving here is the address :
    Old Ebbitt Grill
    675 15th Street, NW
    Washington, DC 20005

Stay out of SE and if you get lost and go across the Anacostia bridge TURN AROUND! Remember that the city is laid out in five circles. Starting at the Capitol the streets go A-Z then they start again with flower names.
Thanks for being there so we have a voice!

On our local news here in San Diego, they did a report on the rally. They showed video of a few speakers at the podium, and then they showed some Nazi-looking, Brown shirted guys over to the side, then they re-looped the portion of the video with the Nazi-looking guys and showed them over and over and over and over again.

I guess they were trying to insinuate that the whole group were all a bunch of Nazi Brown shirts. How sickening is that? And of course when they mentioned that the Minutemen were involved in the rally they automatically referred to them as the 'vigilante' Minutemen. Typical for San Diego, Mexifornia.

Reptile09, don't you hate it when the press does that? It makes me very angry to know the news isn't the news at all but some distorted opinion of the people who own the stations.

I just flew in from DC and boy are my arms tired. Actually, I drove back this afternoon.

That sucks the local station did that. You should call and ask for the person responsible for creating a lie in film for their viewers.

I will give everyone a complete update tomorrow when im rested.
