Community College Opens Its Doors to Illegals

The Board of Trustees of a local community college here in North Carolina, just opened its doors to illegals. Here's what I wrote to the local daily paper:

Dear Editor:

The Isothermal Community College Board of Trustees just approved admitting illegal aliens to ICC. They of course wouldn’t call them illegal; they probably used the misleading euphemism “undocumented� in their deliberations so as to make themselves feel more beneficent.

There is a Federal Statute that makes it a felony to aid and abet an illegal alien. This includes individuals, corporations, groups, and local governments. Does educating them not effectively amount to aiding and abetting? Does it not violate the intent of the law, if not the letter? What sense does it make to aid an illegal who cannot lawfully take a job in this country in any case?

Like North Carolina House Bill 1183 which would provide in-state tuition rates for illegal aliens, this action constitutes an attempt to accommodate lawbreakers, while ignoring the global issue. The standard reasoning for this misguided activity is, “Well, they’re already here, so we can’t deny them their rights.� The ease with which some of our public officials (and private corporations) nod and wink at illegal immigration is appalling.

It is a question of doing the right thing consistent with Federal law which governs immigration. Unfortunately some of our state legislators and, apparently, our local community college have chosen to thumb their noses at Federal law, for the sake of expedience and to appease the illegal alien apologists.

Wake up folks, there is a tsunami of illegals pouring into and across this country, crowding schools, emergency rooms, courts, and social service agencies. They are bringing diseases into this country, which were eradicated here forty or fifty years ago, like tuberculosis and polio, and some which were never seen here before like dengue fever, virulent intestinal parasites and so on. Along with the people coming here for work are thousands upon thousands of criminals of every ilk (bringing illegal drugs with them). They represent a far larger proportion of the inmate population in this country than other population groups, costing us $5 Billion a year to incarcerate. They are bringing their failed third world culture to this country and will soon be voting in numbers large enough to have a dramatic effect on national and state politics. (In fact, they already are). Estimates are as high as 20 to 40 Million illegals here now. They could constitute several times that number within ten to twenty years.

In the face of this, institutions like ICC are creating a magnet in North Carolina for illegals by providing benefits that should be reserved for law-abiding, tax paying Americans, including legal immigrants, of every race. This sort of institutional behavior must be stopped. We must insist Congress change the laws to permit our military to guard our borders. We must insist that immigration law already on the books is enforced. Our future and that of our children and grandchildren depend on it. Our choices are to either get active in this fight or get used to the idea of a third world America.

I think these guys are setting themselves up for some major trouble and I plan to make as much of it myself as I can.

It is my opinion that a community college providing education to an illegal alien is in fact aiding and abetting an illegal criminal activity in the United States. All board members and officers of the college who admit and process aliens knowing the federal law and immmigration law and labor law and civil rights law prohibit it have committed felonies; need to be prosecuted; and jailed for their criminal arrogance and actions.

Period.

There will be no mercy for this level of stupidity, greed, and felonious action.
