Yep! Not only are Catholics discouraged from using birth control, they are not supposed to do the dirty deeds outside of marriage (actually some other religions promote this too). Just how many unmarried modern people, Catholic or otherwise, actually practice abstinence?

I'm not trying to be a moral prig or prude here. I mean, I'm not one to personally endorse chasity until marriage. I don't see anything wrong with living together or doing it before marriage. Birth control - Yes! It's unreasonable especially in this day and age to expect the younger generation to be abstinent in the face of all the crap they see on TV, the Internet, in high schools and elsewhere.

Some teen girls dress like trollops despite high school dress codes. So do some older women and even in the workplace. Anyone watch MTV or similar shows lately? Just what are they promoting if it isn't sex with women displaying their assets? Then, again, you can see what is promoted just by viewing the racks of magazines at stores. Years ago, I believe this crap would have been considered porn or at least soft porn. What is put on display on a Cosmo magazine now I think would have at one time been worthy of a brown bag covering.

As far as the sex angle goes, get married, have a couple kids and that should cure the sexual activity

Here is what I suggest they do with the condoms they evidently don't use. Blow a bunch of them up, tie a string on to them, hold on to the string, then just float over our borders! Or, if they become over heated from walking in the desert, they could blow them up fill them with water and have balloon water fights to cool off! The third choice is the best, just stay home in the first place, use those condoms for what they were meant for, stop drooping kids, you cannot afford to feed and try to get their country in better shape and leave ours alone!

I think the drug angle is correct, they used to use ballons but they would often break killing the smuggler.

At least in the first year after birth, there's nothing more discouraging than a screaming infant that wakes up the parents during the night and keeps at least one of them tired all day long if they don't have a job to go to. Then, the job(s) can tire them out during the day too so they don't have any energy at night. Facts of life!

I have proudly handed down my form of birth control to my sixteen year old son, his little sister 100% effective.

My next-door-neighbors (illegal aliens) are working on baby #3. Mom is about 6 or 7 months pregnant, with one about 5, and another still in diapers. Mom sits on her front porch with her two kids looking like she's in abject misery. Seriously, I've never seen anybody in my life who NEVER smiles. But then again, I ask myself....what does she have to smile about? Here she is, living in a 3-bdrm, 1-bath house with about 20 other people, she has no privacy, two kids to take care of, with one on the way, she can't speak any English, and she probably lives in terror of La Migra.

I have to say, I do feel sorry for her, but I also know she's perpetuating her own misery by continuing to pop the babies out.
