Thread: Congressman Says Jeff Sessions Has Recused Himself on Uranium One

Oh, am I confused? Has Jeff Sessions not recused himself from the Russia investigation? I thought he had, and that's why Rob Rosenstein is in charge of it and why Rob Rosenstein appointed Robert Mueller Special Counsel to investigate and prosecute it. I guess this was just Fake News.

This Breitbart story supposedly has been overridden stating that he did not recuse himself. there is a thread to that effect.

Carter Page is now chattering, vague talk and am sure there is a lot of chatter during campaign that you half listen to and Sessions does not want to be nailed for lying over frivolous un-meaningful talk - as he has stated in his jobs/roles, there are lot of talks, discussions, chatter. But not all are meaningful with follow thru.

It has gotten ridiculous. They tried to nail trump jr when hillary out and out definitely was involved in lies, coverups, pay to play schemes, misuse of funds & criminal actions & exposing emails as well as interfering with bernie's chance to be elected. She has been skating unharmed too; the special council should have been drawn up on her.

None of the leaks are accurate about anything, it's why hearsay evidence isn't allowed in a court room. Most normal people can't remember what they were doing, what they heard someone say, or what someone did last week, let alone months or now years ago. This "lying to the FBI" law if that's what it is needs to be repealed for this reason. Also, we need to pass a law that prohibits any FBI, federal of Congressional interrogation or any type of wiretapping or surveillance about political activities, because these are protected free speech and association rights and it's unconstitutional under the First Amendment for employee, agent or official of the government to target people in anyway who work in campaigns, who advise campaigns, or who support a candidate about their conversations, their meetings, phone calls, emails and any other political related speech and communications.

What's going on is dead wrong and must be corrected, pronto.

Trump called it McCarthyism and he is 100% right about that.
