Conservative Vs. Liberal No Longer An Issue
By Chuck Baldwin
Let's get real. The political battle between conservatives and liberals is no longer an issue worth discussing. Except for rhetoric, there is little substantive difference between them. The hype, scare tactics, and fear mongering used by both sides is merely for the purpose of raising money and electing people to positions of power. However, neither side has any real plans to change public policy or the overall direction of the country.
How long have we voters heard Democrats and Republicans warn us of the imminent dangers of the other party while assuring us that they and they alone can be trusted to save the country? It's the same redundant message every two years, and has been for as long as I can remember.
However, the grim reality is, no matter whom we elect, no matter which party controls Congress or the White House, the direction of the country doesn't change. Fundamental liberties continue to be lost, the federal government continues to burgeon, and America continues to evolve into a socialist-Fascist society.
Furthermore, that people call themselves Christians also matters little. The Religious Right moves in lock-step with the socialist-Fascist direction of the country along with the godless left. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter whether a politician claims to be conservative or liberal, Christian or unbeliever (which, of course, hardly any politician claims to be). Nothing changes.
What Americans must come to understand is that there is really only one issue that counts today: will America be an independent, sovereign nation or will it become part of a global empire complete with global government and a global economy? Obviously, there are many sub-issues that will help decide that question, but ultimately this is the single most important issue facing this generation of Americans! And when one ponders that question, he or she can easily see that both Democrats and Republicans, liberals and conservatives, Christians and unbelievers are culpable in leading or assisting America's entrance into internationalism. There seems to be but a handful of people, from either end of the political spectrum, that remotely understands this reality.
Of course, many people are blind as bats as to what is happening to our country. All they know is working, paying taxes, getting drunk on the weekends, and immersing themselves in sports or self pleasure. Others see what is happening and because they lack a proper education or background are intrigued by it. Still others know exactly what is happening and are doing everything they can to hasten the pace. Regardless, America continues on the fast track to globalism.
What people need to realize is that internationalism is incompatible with freedom. Once internationalists achieve their dream of global government, Americans will rapidly lose their liberties and independence. No one's life, liberty, or property will be secure. People will become servants to an all-powerful state. We will live our lives under ubiquitous state surveillance. There will be no appeals, no checks and balances, and no separation of powers.
The rise of globalism also means the end of Christianity as a major influence in America culture and society. Our Christian history and heritage will be expunged. Beyond that, true Christian people will find that they have no friends within this new global order. We will come to share the purges and persecutions that our brothers and sisters who lived under Stalin's Russia and Mao's China endured.
Do you find it interesting that those Christians who refuse to oppose the efforts of internationalists today are actually helping to forge the chains and build the scaffolds that will ultimately be used against both them and their children tomorrow? Whether they realize it or not, that is exactly what they are allowing to happen.
It is time that all freedom loving Americans discard their infatuation with political parties, labels, and titles. They must quickly cast off their propensity to put pragmatism over principle and stop allowing themselves to be blindly led by these pompous Pied Pipers of internationalism.
Liberal or conservative? Democrat or Republican? Christian or unbeliever? It no longer matters! We are fighting for the survival of our nation. Any man, regardless of race, religion, political label, or economic station who understands that this is a battle between globalism and independence is our friend, and any man who understands it not will ultimately do us more harm than good, his political and religious affiliation notwithstanding.

Choose "one of the lesser evils" they are all politicians, is not much of a political choice. I believe a lot of illegals have voted in many of our elections to push their agenda. Which makes my vote worth nothing. I am sick of this "Robinhood" mentality level that is choking the life out of our nation. Americans are some of the nicest and certainly most generous people in the world. We were raised to be fair and just, to treat others as you would like to be treated and most importantly to love our country and be thankful for our many blessings. What is happening to America right now is neither fair nor just, people are not treating our country or its countrymen with any sort of respect and they certainly are not thankful for the blood, sweat and tears our ancestors put forth so they could come and enjoy the "freedoms" here. Both parties are responsible for this complete disaster that is tearing our nation apart by its very threads. The grim reality is that it will inevitably get worse before it gets better. (and I am an optimist!)I come from a long line of Republicans and I am "jumping ship" and it not to the Dems, I have a feeling I am not alone....OK, I am off of my soapbox...

I completely agree, guys. I find nothing more irritating than people who are so simple-minded that they have to think of everything in terms of "conservative" and "liberal." These are terms meant to shut down free thinking--it's like mob thought. The terms liberal and conservative haven't meant a damn thing in 20 years. If anyone tries to talk to me in these terms these days I just stop listening.

RIGHT YOU ARE..........all ya need is a ............LICENSE!I believe a lot of illegals have voted in many of our elections to push their agenda
PS: I'm a conservative and very proud of it, btw. The problem I personally face is that I DON'T SEE ANY CONSERVATIVES OUT THERE THAT DESERVE MY VOTE! They're ALL after the same thing and it isn't conservative sovereignty and love of country, SMALL government and freedom. They're all big brothers, globalists and open borders.

Well, I hate to be the fly in the ointment, but I happen to believe there is a difference between true conservatives, otherwise known as traditionalists, and liberals, otherwise known as progressives (a term which I find hilarious).
It is the left, i.e. liberals, who push agendas like open borders, gay marriage, abortion on demand, etc., etc. The so-called conservatives who promote a similar agenda, with a few variations, such as Senor Bush, are neo-cons (with the emphasis on CON). They are not conservatives, in the traditional sense. The problem is that our entire politcal spectrum has moved to the left. John F. Kennedy would today be considered Center-Right on most issues. At the time, he was considered toward the left, as I recall.
These neo-cons, who are more like "moderates" support multinational companies, free trade, foreign aid, the U.N, and all the other garbage most of us abhor. They have left the common man behind in their quest for power and internationalism. Folks like us look around and see what is happening and we know in our guts that it is wrong. Our representatives for the most part no longer represent us. A small case in point is what happened in Charlotte, where the voters went to the polls and voted down the tax payer funded basketball arena for the Bobcats. The city council went ahead and built it anyway, spending something like $235,000,000 of the taxpayer's money to entice the NBA expansion team to come to Charlotte. How screwed up can government officials be? This borders on fraud.
Having said that, we cannot insulate ourselves from the rest of the country politically. We do not have the clout to be a party unto ourselves and most of these splinter parties are mostly irrelevant, no matter how well intended they are. We have to work with people who agree with us at least in part. They don't have to agree with us on every issue to help us achieve our aims, particularly in the area of immigration.
I don't care if the politician is a Democrat or a Republican, if he supports immigration enforcement, sealing the borders, etc., I will support him, at least on that issue.
Saying that Conservative and Liberal don't mean anything anymore is an emotional response to the disappointment we all feel with many so-called conservatives, like Bush, who have miserably failed us and the rest of the country. I hold these so-called conservatives to a higher standard than the liberals like Kennedy, Dodd, et.al., because they made certain warranties and representations to us that they would uphold traditional American values. Now they have gone and tossed those overboard for the sake of expediency or power. Pat Buchanan, who is an isolationist and a more traditional conservative, believes the conservatives have already lost in this country. The fact that politics has moved to the left may be proof of that. As more poverty stricken illegals flood our country, you can bet that the left will gain in power. We have to fight to return to our traditional roots, the things that made America great.
Liberal and Conservative do matter. It just depends on your definition. When we gonna wake up?

ScareCrow!!
Beautifully Stated!!
Also, historically, the success of our nation has been the two party system. It is the only real way to ensure a Majority Rule. As tempting and as much as many of us want to throw both of these parties out the window or into the sea, the reality is that we are best served by the two party sytem.
The real problem is the wrong people are running both political parties in the United States.
That we all have the power change, but not in time to save the nation from the ravages of illegal immigration and "What's Afoot".
So....we must next week make every call, write every letter, do every possible thing we can do to get:
TROOPS ON THE BORDERS NOW!!
FORCE OUR OFFICIALS TO ENFORCE IMMIGRATION LAW NOW!!
STOP THE GLOBALISTS IN THEIR TRACKS WITH A DON'T SPEND, SAVE lifestyle until this problem is resolved to our full satisfaction.A Nation Without Borders Is Not A Nation - Ronald Reagan
