This is from the Constitution - Question?
Section 4 - Disqualification
The President, Vice President and all civil officers of the United States, shall be removed from office on impeachment for, and conviction of, treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors
I'm not an expert on the Constitution, does this mean the Senators and House Reps can also be impeached?Do not vote for Party this year, vote for America and American workers!

That's the way it reads to me. But do you actually think that the nest of thieves will vote to take out one of their own?

All civil officers should cover members of Congress as well. I know that elected officials can also be removed by a recall vote.

WavTek, do you suppose that the recalls are invoked under some sort of state law?
I am thoroughly convinced that two hundred thirty years of successors doctoring up the original legislation has sure made a mess of our government. now nobody knows what anything means-- or at least the forget when it's convenient to do so.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

An Arizona resident who posts on SOS says they are starting a John McCain recall. Some patriots in Pennsylvania need to do the same for Specter.
DeWine, Graham, Feinstein, etc. we can take care of in November.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Civil officiers likely means those civilians who are appointed to their office. The House or Senate can however vote to remove a member from office, but it's based on their ethics rules and the decison of the applicable Ethics Committee.

Yeah, 'they' have to bring the charges themselves...the people can no longer do it...just as the senate voted down the very idea of an oversight committee ( and who needs one worse than the senate????) they have used things they voted in to keep themselves in office no matter how badly they behave.
I think criminal charges can be brought by citizens in the event of some forms of misbehavior...but betraying our nation is the WORST form and we're sorta helpless on that point.
We need to talk to a good constitutional attorney...see if there's anything we can do....????
