    CBP Border Patrol

Border Patrol Agents patrol nearly 6,000 miles of international land border with Canada and Mexico and nearly 2,000 miles of coastal border. What is missing from the Home Page of the Border Patrol? Not one mention of the word "Illegal Aliens" or Illegal Immigrants crossing the Borders, that's what.
It is almost like they (Illegal Aliens) don't exist. The main purpose of the Border Patrol is to prevent terrorists and terrorists weapons, including weapons of mass destruction, from entering the United States.

Yeah, what about drug and weapons smuggling, trafficking in illegal migrants, money laundering, and various other criminal activities that are taking place along the border? Aren't they a priorty too?

This new mission statement goes hand in hand with pushing Bush's agenda of open borders for illegal immigration (illegals are fine as long as they arent of the terrorist variety - Bush's feelings). Furthermore, drug smuggling probably never has been that much of a concern because if it were, we would have stopped it years ago!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't illegal immigrants and smuggled drugs killing a lot of Americans?

I'm not sure why it's not mentioned either but I can assure you the BP is out here and going after Illegals and human/drug smugglers.

New management always rewrite mission statements for federal agencies. Many are changed every year. That is how the federal government manages to stay out of trouble.

Yeah, I know they are, but obviously it's not a priority (their words, not mine).

Wouldn't those who attempt to illegally enter be the illegal aliens?
The problem is they just can't bring themselves to say the word alien!! must be afraid the boggie man is going to swoop down from mars and sweep them away!!
