Organic food production in the slums of Mexico City

    The best organic fertilizer: urine
The key to this technology is fertilization. While chemical fertilizers can be used, Dr.Daniels suggests a much better alternative: an organic, domestically produced, high-power fertilizer. Regarding fertilizer, considering the expense of commercially prepared fertilizers, the amount needed for a full-size deck garden and the fact that many of them don't work well, I have found that urine is the best fertilizer for this system. The decaying leaf medium breaks it down almost instantly so that there is never any odor, and germ survival in material such as this has been shown to be practically nil. We call this liquid organic fertilizer (LOF).

I hope our organic veggies arn't coming from here.

One more time and then I will hush

Why is everyone so worked up to run out and buy from the employers of illegal aliens?

It is the employers who caused our problem. If they are on the ropes tomorrow - isn't that where we want them?

Are we trying to show the illegals that we will continue to spend money with their employers - no matter what?

Why is Clear Channel promoting this? They may truly have been anti-illegal in the past - I don't know - does anyone know?

If we go out and spend a lot of money tomorrow - bolster the employers - we have lost. That's exactly what the employers want us to do.

So we are supposed to spend big money at Wal Mart and other illegal hiring companies just to show them? Who are we showing and what are we showing them?

Spending our money with these people is what put us in this situation - withholding it is what might fix it.

So we might get some press - I doubt it - so what good does that do?

The employers still have our money - the illegals still have their jobs - and we are a little more broke. The only loosers here will be us.

    Just another side of this

Sorry if I offend - truly I am - but I just don't get it.

nntrixie, you have a good point that I thought about last night. I have a headache from trying to figure out the best thing to do tomorrow. I have a mile long shopping list, researched to be sure I don't spend money with any business supporting illegal employment, and now I wonder if I'll be doing what's best.
