Inmigrante TV
Anyone else seen these billboards?
There are quite a few billboards here in Houston and one is about a mile from my home I am very unhappy with. This Inmigrante TV is being aired on KZJL 61.2 in Houston.
Apparently they are running a lot of pro-illegal immigration stuff and talk about immigration reform (amnesty).

Call the station and tell them it needs to at least be changed to illegal alien tv!
They sure don't want to come here legally, and don't want to assimilate, but they sure love being here though.
Personally, I blame the politicians. If they were doing their job. We wouldn't be talking about this problem in the first place.

This is actually a podcast service for the law firm of Manuel Solis specialists in immigration.
I have hit 4400I support enforcement and see its lack as bad for the 3rd World as well. Remittances are now mostly spent on consumption not production assets. Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Houston immigration TV or infomercial?
A Houston immigration attorney has created what is being heralded as a first in the nation: a TV network dedicated to immigration issues.
The Spanish-language channel, Inmigrante TV, "hopes to give faith to those who are affected by the current immigration laws, keeping them informed of everything that might alter the immigration policy outlook," according to a press release announcing the station's launch. It airs in the greater Houston area on Channel 61.2 or you can watch it live here.
The station is the brainchild of high-profile immigration attorney Manuel Solis, who is a well-recognized name in local immigration law circles.
Much of the programming actually appears to be advertising for Solis' firm. Even when news anchors are reporting, his phone number flashes in the lower left corner. For minutes at a time, the lead anchor and Solis urge viewers to call Solis' office for a free immigration consultation.
There does not appear to be any other sponsorship for the station except Solis, who was the subject of a federal lawsuit filed this summer by three illegal immigrants claiming he engaged in deceptive advertising. That lawsuit later was dismissed.

Republican Senator considers fine of $ 50,000 for employers of illegal immigrants
Recently the Idaho Senator Mike Jorgenson, insisted on punishing businesses that employ undocumented immigrants, despite opposition from dairy and construction industries, represented by the Idaho Business Coalition for Immigration Reform.
Republican estimated that the recruitment of immigrants by Idaho employers cost the state millions of dollars.
Jorgenson has the backing of the Federation of American Immigration Reform, a group that tries to convince the government to reduce immigration. One of his spokesmen raised the mandatory and universality in the use of E-Verify was quoted as saying last week the Miami Herald.
The fine companies that hire undocumented workers would be $ 50,000.00 and the withdrawal of its operating license, which the coalition of entrepreneurs considered an extreme form of punishment.
The debate was heightened when Senator notes that this refusal of employers to use E-Verify is that protected their interests by saving by hiring cheap labor. Even said that his initiative was blocked in the Senate by pro-business interests.
