    Credit cards transferred

I just called Capital One to find out whether they issue credit cards to anyone without a social security number. Other than an indivudual co-signed by someone with a SS#, the answer is NO and they do not intend to in the future. They say the only way to track credit history of an individual is by their SS# and therefore Capital One only issues to persons with that credit history.

Thanks for the info as that's the card I carry and I wanted to know what they were doing. I'll use it happily!
