Crossing the border to give birth

I work at a health care facility in Phoenix AZ. I recieved a call but of course could not speak to them because they did not know how to speak english. So I gave the phone to my co-worker. My co-worker puts her on hold and says, this lady wants to know if her family member can come have her baby at our hospital. We do not have an OB....The catch? She is in mexico and wants to set up an appointment to come have her baby here illegally. I could not believe it.

I guess that is evidence enough that our borders still are far from secure. Obviously the pregnant lady and her friend are confident in they can get across the border easily, even with one of them being pregnant.

How I wish Mexico would take care of their people instead of us.
