Well, I thought I may as well at least make a thread on the topic to let everyone know what is slated for the Senate in the next few days.

Now, Reid is discussing upcoming legislation to be discussed:

SCHIP - Children's Health Ins. Program
HR 976 - Senate version of bill must be reconciled with HR bill;
must to go conference now?

Iraq War/Funding/Veteran's Health Issues/etc.

Etc.

Please watch for the attempts at sliding DREAM Act provisions, mini-amnesty, etc into other more mainstream bills.
Especially watch anything that has Kennedy or Feinstein as a sponsor or co-sponsor.

Ooh, he just mentioned 'immigration' specifically just now in his overview - be on the lookout folks, here comes the amnesty try...yet, once again!!!

McConnell is now speaking on various issues which the Senate should be addressing in the future. Now, speaking about appointment of a new AG, and related things.

I believe it's morning business time on the Senate floor.
