    Culturism and Individualism

The problem with discussions surrounding Ms. Arellana and her ilk is that it only concerns individuals. This makes, unfortunately for us, great media. Nothing is more heart wrenching than a mother being separated from her family.

One flaw in the logic behind their argument is that it assumes America has to provide the venue for relocation. They can be reuinited in their country without breaking any laws. The major flaw is that it suggests that the heartbreak of one individual should override our national sovereignty. Culturism values the majority culture and says it is a legitimate policy consideration. It doesn't override individual rights. In fact it protects them (our culture is the bastion of individual rights in the world). Outside of the shallow media imagination where individual stories are all; Cultures have rights that deserve as much consideration as single individuals. I hope she fares well, but we cannot throw out our sovereignty for Ms. Arellano's family.

the problem in Mexico is that the majority of its people, at least the "mestizo" (60%) and indigenous (30%) Mexicans believe the radical left intellectual elite which claims that since their ancestors were here in this hemisphere FIRST, i.e. before "white man", that therefore they consider NorthAmerica/Central America THEIR land..... white man came later, invaded and occupied THEIR land....

Some radicals even try to rewrite history by claiming that the earliest known "man" in the Americas, known as the OLMECS, were native to the land, and were NOT descendents of migrants coming across the Bering Straits (15,000 BC) but were truly "born" on this continent. The requires a Christian to believe that GOD hedged his bets and planted a competitor to ADAM and EVE on this continent....

as long as they believe that fundamental right to RECLAIM "their" lands, known as Aztlan (SouthWest US), we have irreconcilable differences...
No soy de los que se dicen 'la raza'... Am not one of those racists of "The Race"
