What's up? Gas Prices Down???
The gasoline prices have dropped about 50 cents per gallon here in San Antonio, TX in the last 4-6 weeks. Am I happy? NO! I am suspicious. Has this happened to anyone else? Pretty funny that it's almost election time....

El Guapo, (j/k Texas)
It hasn't happened in UT, but we do believe in price fixing here. Its only dropped about 3 cents."Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting the same results is the definition of insanity. " Albert Einstein.

It's $2.24 a gallon around here now. Everyone says it due to elections being close. Afterwards it will rise again.

Gas prices going down
Here in Virginia, we have noticed for several years that before Elections
the gas prices go down...only to creep back up after the Elections. This time it is particularly noticable because gas was almost $3.00 per gal.

Even dropped a lot in California, about 30 cents a gal in the last 2 weeks. Figures that right before an election this would happen eh? Do they think we're stupid???

I think it's because it's fall, lower usage.
AND:
These companies were fixing oil prices and afraid I think that if they didn't clean up their act they'd be hiking off to jail in orange jump suits. I believe the conviction of Ken Lay caused them to "gather" and "collectively" decide....it wasn't worth it.
At least that's my theory.

the boys know we are onto their plan......
Drop those prices so the American people will forget some of the anger before it is time to vote......People on alternative Radio having been saying it would drop close to 2.00 per gal before the elections...for the last 4-5months....
Now isn't that special...I am not going to forget even if I must tattoo a reminder into my armNever look at another flag. Remember, that behind Government, there is your country, and that you belong to her as you do belong to your own mother. Stand by her as you would stand by your own mother

It's falling like Rocks. It's supposed to get to $1.50 or less here. Rock Bottom...just proving the whole hike up was manipulated and not market driven.
China is still there using and using.
USA still here using and using.
It drops a little because it's fall and travelers aren't on the highways and the temperature is mild using less energy but gasoline?
Those rates were totally manipulated for the past two years using Global War on Terror and Katrina.
It's repugnant.
We should file a multi-billion dollar lawsuit and prove it. (get those big bonuses back in our pockets we paid for, eh?)

A new independent electric car company rolled out their first model vehicle in California. It's called the Tesla Roadster. This happened just before the price drop. The car gets great mileage, looks hot (Lotus Elaine) and goes 0-60 faster than many internal combustion cars:
