Rush says McCain people don't understand how deep the resentment is for McCain (from conservatives) based on his time in the Senate. The McCain people thinks this can be overcome with a little outreach.

McCain would be working with Dems against conservatives. He would be eager to work with liberals.

Rush says it would be easier for House GOP members to work together against a Democratic president.

Caller from Florida. Has been receiving calls from McCain's campaign all weekend saying he is the only one who can win in Nov. Caller says this is disheartening, he told his family to vote for Romney, not for Huckabee, or Paul as this is a two man race between McCain and Romney, have to derail the McCain train in Florida...

Rush says he hasn't endorsed anyone, not telling anyone who to vote for.

But what McCain people don't understand is the betrayal conservatives feel from McCain.

Man that's a load, anyone BUT him (and Huckster) would beat the Dems in Nov.

Of course it's the same thing he was saying in 2000, obviously nobody bought it then either.

I would never ever vote for McCain under any condition and that goes for my friends too. If he wins the nomination the next president will be a democrap.
