Flawed Studies Ignore Real Impact Of Illegal Immigration

Recently, two lengthy immigration studies were released that made headlines across California for their unbelievable claims made by the authors on the impact of illegal immigration in our state.

These so-called immigration experts at the Public Policy Institute of California and the Immigration Policy Center came to the misguided conclusion that illegal immigrants living in California actually help American workers earn higher wages, and break fewer laws than other demographic groups in our state.

When asked about his conclusions, the co-author of one of the reports, Ruben Rumbaut, told a newspaper that he hoped his work would “reduce prejudice.â€

What the chance that this makes the national media? Probably no, only the fiction seem to make press anymore.
Maybe if they start charging the authors of these fictions reports with some type of crime, maybe, just maybe they’ll stop spreading their lies.
I wonder how many of these, using the term loosely, studies is tax payer funded. Wouldn’t that make it fraud?

Good, accurate article. The "study" from the PPI is obviously sloppy, biased & flawed in many ways. Sadly, it's not surprising that it received much MSM attention.

What I want to know is the estimated number of illegal aliens in California, their crime and incarceration rate and types of crimes committed, and the cost to taxpayers of all this.

And, of course, just one crime committed by an illegal in California is one too many and shouldn't have occurred -- and wouldn't have occurred if our borders were secure.
